“I hate to just give out five stars Willie Nelly, but the place is called burgers and beers. They serve burgers and they serve beer and they did it really well. Our server was super friendly. The guy who ran our food was nice we weren’t rushed everyone knew what they were talking about. They were very professional and the food was really good. I had a burger with a fried egg on top, lettuce, tomato, onion, and mayo. We actually had wings here too just to see what they were like being from Buffalo myself. They actually weren’t bad now don’t get me wrong. They were not buffalo wings, but they did well.“

“The busser here always lights up my day. He’s always in a great mood and greets everyone with genuine excitement, making you feel at home. He truly goes above and beyond to ensure you have a fantastic experience. The food is good too. They still have the same booths and vibe as they did twenty years ago and I love the consistency. This place has become nostalgic for me. $24 for all this food, unlimited coffee, an orange juice, and fantastic service from the busser is pretty darn good.“

“Edit: I said I’d never go back but they ended up sending us free entrees after the Valentines fiasco so we decided it would be crazy not to give it another try… and it was a night and day difference. The server was fantastic, super attentive and filling waters before they were empty. She was apologetic about Valentines and thanked us for coming back to give them another opportunity to make it right. The steaks were good, the sides were good, the truffle fries are to die for and I’m not even a big fry person. They have a good happy hour and a lot of their regular menu items look delicious. I’m impressed with their customer service and willingness to right a wrong. That means a lot to me and we will definitely be back! 👏

This is the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. They attempted to placate customers with free drinks, but all the free drinks in the world couldn’t make this restaurant tolerable. After more than 2.5 hours of waiting for our food, the scallops were inedible and the steak was overcooked. We sent the food back just to have it replaced with food that was even worse. I’ve never left a restaurant with my blood boiling before. We will never go back. This was the second time trying this restaurant. The first time we went was when they first opened and we had drinks and dessert and the dessert was hard, stale, and inedible. I figured it was because they had just opened and that they’d get better as they fine tuned their processes. They’ve only gotten worse. There were a lot of customers waiting over three hours for terrible food, as we heard the complaints. Ended up going to yard house after because we couldn’t eat the food at hendos and left hungry. The service and steak at yard house was fantastic in comparison.“

“First impression wasn't that great. The owner at my first perception was impatient with me as I entered the restaurant and sat in an open booth vice a table. I had my kid in tow and did not want to deal with the hustle of a large chain. I had to be somewhere and this was on my way. Never judge hastily. This was the best food brunch I've had and he was so kind to have his kitchen make a Mikey pancake for my kid. It was very kind and I'll be coming back frequently. Recommend recommend recommend“

“Our waitress Mel was superb! I believe she was also the bartender, but she was attentive and had a sparkling personality. We ordered the campfire feast for two. This was the first time ordering the calamari and it was delicious. I really like the calamari strips as opposed to the rings. We both had 1/2 rack of ribs with bbq chicken. Next to it, there’s a separate bowl of classic macaroni and cheese—bright, cheesy, and creamy—served on a small plate with a spoon.

“First time at this bbq joint. Inside looks like a mix between a bar and a restaurant. There is outside sitting as well and also what looked like a private room for bigger groups. We shared beef ribs and a salad. Both were delicious. About the ribs, not many places have beef ribs and when they do they’re not as amazingly tasty as these were! Waitress was very friendly. We’ll be back to try other items on the menu.

“I love Irish pubs and this place was no exception. I meant to get pictures of the food but I was so hungry it was gone before I thought about it. Their prices were very reasonable. The food was full of flavor and tasted fresh. They gave you hearty portions for the price. Their drink menu didn't disappoint. With a great selection of cocktails to a solid shelf bar collection of unique and top shelf brands. A great place for a social night out. Not for those looking for a quiet meal.“

“Cave is truly a hidden gem and one of a kind restaurant. The setting is a very unique where tables are placed in between wine barrels for a private and intimate feel inside a modern tunnel cave with minimalistic decor one would think you’re in a Nordic country instead of California.

We had an a reservation for lunch on a Sunday afternoon and the host properly checked us in and we got seated after a very short wait.

Since it’s a Sunday they have a brunch menu in addition to their regular menu.

For starter we had the birria empanada which is nicely fried and comes with consommé (4/5).

The pork belly hash is decent but a bit underwhelming and somewhat lacking in flavor (3/5).

The duck leg confit is quite nicely done. It’s savory and tender with the slightly sweet red wine cherry sauce as a perfect companion along with the tasty mashed potato (5/5).

Overall I would rate 4/5 for the food but the unique dining experience inside the wine cave.“

“We were there for a late lunch on a Sunday. We had our dog with us, so we ate outside. It was a very nice setting with a large covered patio and ceiling fans. We were comfortable even though it was 90 degrees. Unfortunately, the musical duo was so loud that we could hardly hear each other. The wait-staff was very friendly, and very, very inefficient! A couple in our group split a meal. They were almost finished eating when the extra plate arrived (after asking for it twice). Another in our group had to get up from our table and ask a server (who was clearing tables) to get the condiment that was asked for twice. Those are only two "highlights" of the lousy service. The upside is that we did not have to ask for water for the dog. It was brought out as soon as we sat down. If they could improve the service, we would go there frequently.“

“The was probably the largest potato I've ever received at a steak house!

The steaks themselves were very generously seasoned with pepper and salt, I am a fan of this since I don't use steak sauce but it is something to be aware of. The brussel sprouts were also amazing with a hint of sweetness.
