James. James, is like Pinotage, rare and remarkable.We were lucky enough to take our Cave tour with him, amazing experience. Spring for the extra tasting with the tour, at least eight wines with multiple top offs!
Beautiful place, great atmosphere. I love the privacy you get from the rows of barrels separating the tables inside the cave (as another reviewer mentioned, make sure your reservation is in there), and they nail the lighting. Food was good, wine was better. My kids wanted steak fries which I initially said "c'mon" to, but they were perfectly seasoned with tender beef on top. My husband and I had such a great time here after our wine tasting tour. We actually ended up meeting another couple there while touring and decided to dine together. The service was awesome, the ambience was beautiful and relaxing as well. It's almost a 2 hour drive for us but 100% worth it. We did the wine flight tasting while dining which was fun!
