The Karl Strauss Brewing Company offers exceptional service with friendly and attentive staff. The bartender is knowledgeable, recommending and explaining the beers. The food is praised as very good, with the seared ahi tuna salad being a highlight. Customers consistently rate their experience as 100% recommended. The restaurant offers a military discount, and the portions are generous. Recent reviews highlight the excellent service, with servers described as friendly, attentive, and accommodating. Customers have enjoyed their meals, particularly the pork chops and the mesquite chicken sandwich. The restaurant is known for its delicious beer, including a popular Hefeweizen, and is dog-friendly. However, some customers have noted that the front door was often left open, making the dining area cold and drafty.
