Had a horrible experience at Casa Jimenez tonight. Not with the food or our service but with the manager! We have been coming here for years and have always enjoyed the food. I have always ordered a small side of Chorizo to go with my food. They bring it in a really small bowl and is about 3 big tablespoons. In the past I have always paid $3 which I never minded (you can get almost a pound for that price at Cardenas market). Tonight our server charged us $11 dollars for an order of Chorizo and Eggs. Huh? I didn't order eggs and didn't get eggs! When I had our server correct the bill who took it to the manager. That person said no, it's $11! I nicely explained that I always pay $3 for the small amount of Chorizo. Manager would not budge. Well... they just lost a customer who has been patronizing their restaurant for years. Many years. There's no room for poor service like this now a days! Too many other choices for basic Mexican food. So long, nice knowing ya!

Where is the Chili Relleno in the pictures? The one my father ordered was soggy and dull.

Nothing better than walking into this place and being greeted by the one and only Gustavo! He is the best server and the reason we will continue to support this business. The food is also amazing!!

I've always had a good or great experience at casa. It's consistent and the food is always tasty. We need more businesses like Casa Jimenez!

Usually very good. We get takeout quite often but tonight the food is bland and cold. Maybe because it's taco Tuesday? Idk but really disappointed Update: I now have food poisoning just 2-3 hours after eating. Will never return

4/5/2024 Just got home from our very first dinner at Casa Jimenez. G U S T A V O He is the epitome of what Customer service is all about. I counted about 17 adults and 14 kids in our party tonight. Gustavo waited on us and had the memory of a computer and got all our orders right. I was so impressed that he could do this without writing down our orders. His memory accompanied with his amazing personality.... All I can say, is we have found a new place to eat out at. The food was soooo good. The endless chips and salsa is hardly common at these sit down places, and makes everything worth the extra $$ we pay to eat out. I liked it. The whole experience at a new to us, place. My grandson turned 12 and I'm sure this will be memorable for years to come. Thank you, CJ and Gustavo!

This particular location is very very good! I think some of the dishes are better than others. Chile Rellano’s very good. A passerby just commented on the corona Rita I was having! After a couple of them during Happy Hour you’re sure to be happier than when you came. ?
I was very satisfied, The food I got was terrific and their happy hour drinks are delicious! I had Coronitas (lg. margarita w/small corona attached) really good! I think I may have to go there today on the way home!

Honestly, breakfast burrito is pretty good! We usually get it to go and pair it with a smoothie from Tropical Twist.

Ive enjoyed other Casa Jimenez locations but not this one. I had the chili verde & soup of the sea, they were both tasteless, bland & kind of gross. The meat was dry, tough & chewy like it went through a microwave or sat out too long, not to mention very bland sauce. The soup had a slimy like texture to the seafood in it & no flavor. I couldn't eat it. Service was good but the food was slop. I felt disappointed, sick & full of remorse after eating here.

I ordered a $43 dollar molcajete. The meat was literally spoiled and the chicken was hard as a rock, the shrimp was soggy all bad and they gave me a discount bit just barely tasted the food, we left the entire molcajete and was charged $33 for it. I hope to God that nobody gets food poisoning here good luck ... the service was good, it was the food that got me a stomach ache.
