Charleys Cheesesteaks and Wings

Just tried this place for the first time today (1/2/2026) and it was absolutely FIRE! The guy who on my receipt said was Lazaro, suckered me in with a free sample… went and did my shopping, took it back to the car, and came back in for a sandwich. Got the Bacon Chipotle Chicken sandwich and the other guy cooking said “You want that regular or the way I make it for samples?” And I said “However you would make it for YOU”… definitely did not disappoint. The sauce was sweet like honey with a bit of spicy kick, everything was absolutely super hot and fresh, and Lazaro and the other guy cooking were friendly and funny. Also got the cajun cheese fries and definitely some of the best ones in town. Just downloaded the app to get some discounts and gonna head back again this weekend. Absolutely recommend!

Food was delicious and fresh! The guy was alone and he handled our orders and cooking for our work crew! Luckily someone came in to help towards the end of the orders but he was getting it out quickly! Highly recommend!

ATTENTION MANAGER
I wanted to share feedback about two recent visits. During my first visit, the experience was exceptional. A gentleman prepared my wings and fries fresh after I ordered, and everything tasted great.
Unfortunately, my second visit was disappointing. This time, a lady took my order, and the quality was noticeably different. The fries were not fresh — some were lukewarm, but most tasted old and stale. The wings also didn’t seem as freshly made as the first time. I'm not sure why the quality wasn’t consistent, but it was definitely a letdown.

Food is really good, and theyre usually understaffed too and they seem to make my food really well really quick. My only issue is that the workers dont really care to talk to you everytime I come here. Ive gone here a couple times and everytime I greeted whoever was at the counter I got stared at, happened with 2 different people working too. Ill still come here, I just hope they see this, it honestly kind of hurts my feelings😭. I think the only times the cashiers have talked was when they said my total.

The Charlies in the Walmart off of Murrieta hot springs serves the absolute best sandwiches that I can ask for after a long day of work. I look forward to it all day long. My favorites are the chicken California and the prime BBQ jalapeño with bacon. The workers here are very polite and respectful to their customers as well.

Best French Fries! That's why I'm giving it a three.
I love Charleys and I don't understand how this franchise owner allows the filthy conditions at this location.
Even the credit card machine is covered in gross grime.
While waiting for my food I looked around at the soda machine, I didn't dare get condiments from the pumps, and the tables and floor, wow. I couldn't eat my food. I was fearful I would get sick.
It's disheartening to see it.
They were not busy and it was the whole area. Build up so they can't say its just that day.i won't eat here again until they clean it.
The employees are supposed to clean when they are not helping customers.

Great place to get some classic wings! Lemon pepper flavor or BBQ flavor are my preference.
Also the sandwiches and fries are great. Recommend the chipotle chicken sandwich and the Cajun fries 🤟.
Yes they are short staffed but that's a common thing now adays. So it's best to be patient. If you dont have patience, this isn't your place to be.
But if you're kind, respectful, and understanding to the employees even when there is only one there, you'll have a great experience! 👍

Awesome food at a great price

I tried this place once before and it was pretty bad!
I was really hungry and I thought I would give them another shot —and they were much worse than the other time!
The club sandwich was over cooked and with no flavor. The bacon was chopped into pinhead size and burnt! The bread was stale and greasy! The fries were lukewarm and undercooked. No level of any service what so ever, and they seem to be understaffed. The counter person was so upset as if you’re interfering with his day!
I ordered it for dine-in and yet the bagged it and put it on the rack for pick up.
No greeting in and no greeting out.
Terrible terrible place!!!
It’s definitely the last time and I don’t think they would bake it if they weren’t inside Walmart!
And if all that isn’t enough, it’s really not worth $16 for a small sandwich and a small fries!!!!
GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!

Overall pretty good for sating that cheeseateak craving! Would go here again.

Cajun fries were a little disappointing - they didn't hold up great over delivery and the seasoning seemed kinda mild.

the mozz sticks held up SO WELL for delivery which i didn't think was possible and they were delicious with a great breading!

Phiily cheesesteak sandwiches (we got a beef and chicken) were pretty good, lil light on cheese but it was great to have a chicken option. My drink wasn't given to our driver so I missed that but they did refund me without any guff.

I came in to do some shopping and the kids were hungry. My kids ordered wings and an ice cream come. Service was really fast and the lady at the counter was really nice which is refreshing. It’s nice to see someone who enjoys their job :) going to try the sandwiches next we are here shopping
