Food was amazing from the oxtail to the pork and crawfish boudin. Definitely worth the wait and the atmosphere of the restaurant to the food itself felt like a real home feeling vibe. Found my new spot.

UPDATE: Hubby and I went back to get our complimentary meal and let me just say. THEY SHOWED UP AND SHOWED OUT!!!! The food was fresh, delicious (as usual) and we left fat and happy! 😊 I will always continue to support this business. With that said, I’m here picking up oxtails for dinner 😝🫶🏽

So hubby called in an order on 8/8. They only had a few items available to order. Usually the food is very good and portions are worth the price. I ordered the catfish meal and couldn’t even eat all of my food because it was half cooked ( both pieces) so I had to eat around the uncooked portion. Everything else was decent, but I was definitely NOT happy about the fish! Paid money and had to refry it myself

Food was delicious and well worth the wait but be prepared to wait. I believe they cook to order which is why it takes awhile but if u want fresh then you will wait. Besides the wait and it being alittle warm inside, everything was great! Great food, fantastic service 👌 and great music. We absolutely loved it, we will be back for more.

It's shrimp and grits Sunday and I couldn't be happier! When I tell you it's the closest to being in Louisiana here in the Temecula valley! I knew it was going to be good before I'd even ate anything...how? The screen door! Awe yeah...we in Louisiana now! Our family has traveled to the Mardi Gras state several times and ate many things. The way most places get it wrong is in that it's greasy. Tho things are fried here they are NOT greasy.
We have had the catfish, hot links, gator poboy, and shrimp and grits ..the frickles are yummy and so is the Mac and cheese ..and I generally don't like Mac and cheese!
Give it time, order before if you're not going to want to wait. They'll give you an ETA and enjoy!

We were looking for some fried fish, for my husband and seen this place on goggle and gave it a try. We got there 1 hour before closing, they were cleaning up. I was wondering if I should still order. Sometimes places give you old food, when it's close to closing time. Well, we were totally surprised. The food was soooo good. I had oxtail with gravy over rice, Mac and cheese and Yams. This fish was cooked to perfection. We will definitely be going back. We had been looking for some soulfood since we moved to Temecula. We found it, and all I can say is Wow.

The soul food was official! My wife and I had the catfish with the rice and gravy and yams. We will be back!!

Food was very good I got the catfish with shrimp collard greens rice and gravy just needed a lil bit more gravy.

Omg, best soul food I've ever had from a very clean restaurant.
Great prices, and good fresh food, made upon order. Peach cobbler, yams, collard greens, and catfish were awesome. Well worth the wait, you can also call in your order. You must try it!

Da Big Easy has become the favorite soul food restaurant in Temecula for me and my family. The food is consistently delicious, with hefty portions and reasonably priced. The owners and staff are always polite, patient and professional. I'll keep going back!

Salty food and terrible service

Greens are outstanding

The chef can go home. He showed out. I had the fried pork chop with yams and Mac and cheese. Mmmmmmmmmm! My husband had the pork ribs with the same sides. He was sooo happy with everything. I recommend this house to eat at. You won’t be disappointed no matter what you order. 💕💕

I just discovered this restaurant today and had to give it a shot. I ordered two meals and both were delicious. The cat fish was great. The mac & cheese was very good. But my favorite, the OX tails, were Perfection! Looking forward to get the OX tails again, and trying some other menu items.
