If you are searching for some creole eats in the area, look no further! The food is made to order so sit, relax, enjoy the company of the other patrons, and watch time go by. Service was friendly and checked in on us from time to time. I ordered the gumbo, served only on Sundays. Hands down the best soul food spot in the area. Love the oxtails over rice and gravy, potato salad, greens, catfish, Mac n cheese, chicken wings.. everything was on point. Tastes like someone’s Bigmama or Madea was in the kitchen putting in work! I typically place my order online or call for takeout. Food is always fresh, hot and most importantly consistent. I have never been disappointed. Hats off to the chef!
Loved the food, I had the greens, Mac and cheese, and catfish. I couldn’t finish it all. The greens weren’t as spicy as I thought it would be but still good. The catfish and Mac and cheese was delicious. I’ll definitely be back for more!
