Great prices for great sized portion! I ordered the carne asada taco, would give five stars was it not for the meat being a little bland. The salsas and soft tortilla was great, and those will really make or break a taco. A big plus was getting tortilla chips, not usual in a small place. If I'm ever in need for a food on my trip b/w NV and San Diego, I will definitely stop back in!

We have been getting food from El Gordito for more than 20 years and they have always been great. Tonight, I ordered a chile verde burrito and it was exceptional! The meat was so tender and the flavor was just the right amount of spice - was so GREAT! We also got tacos, which we always love and rice and beans. Delicious!

Service was excellent. I ordered the fish taco combination plate. The fish tacos were delicious. While the beans and rice were cooked perfectly they were too salty for my taste. Also the fountain sodas had a terrible tap water after taste to them. I don't know what it was but that's the best way I can describe it. They gave us sodas that were in glass bottles in the fridge as a replacement and they were very kind about it. The bathroom needs attention but otherwise okay....
