Be careful with this place the tall Asian guy at the cash register. Very ugly disrespectful person his attitude really made things very awkward for me and my family as if he was doing us a favor. I definitely don’t understand how they have him at the cash register. If he’s the owner, he must be ready to lose his business pretty soon.

I have came to Golden Ginger several times and the food is always delicious, never takes to long to get out to you either through dine in or take out, customer service is always really sweet and polite and the atmosphere in the restaurant is calm and relaxing.I highly recommend this restaurant especially if your looking for delicious Chinese Food.

If I could give the food no stars I would. I was just testing this place out and figured if they can't do fried rice correct, then everything else is suspect. Turns out, I was correct. The fried rice was greasy as hell and it was also too salty. Nasty food. The presentation wasn't very good either as it was in a Styrofoam food container with aluminum foil lacing the bottom of the container. I do not normally do reviews, but I had to with this one and do not recommend.

We ordered to go from GG for the first time and first impressions were not great. We ordered the house special lo mein and chicken satay. We are not of Chinese descent but we ate enough of its cuisine to tell if something is traditional or not.The lo mein had bits of chicken, beef and shrimp but where are the veggies? There was one slice of green onion and that's it! No bell peppers, carrots or snow peas. The noodles were soft and smooth but it was missing the flavors of ginger, garlic and soy sauce. However, our teenagers enjoyed the satay. They said it was tender but it was grilled too long for their taste. We'll give them another try.

I love the taste of their food EXCEPT it's too salty and no matter how much you tell them not to put too much soy sauce, it's still serve SALTY, enough that your tongue burns. And if you tell the server - they just shrug their shoulder, said sorry and business as usual - they don't care I'm not sure if I can recommend it as it's not healthy specially those who have issues with salty food.

I have to say, this place was really nice. It reminded me of a place my parents used to take me to when I was a kid. It's a small but charming restaurant and the food comes out surprisingly fast. The food was delicious and the portions were big. We had a table for four and ordered the House Special Dinner B, which included soup, appetizer, and entrees. We were stuffed and took enough food home to make lunch for 2 days at work. The wonton soup was amazing, as was everything else we ordered. The food was so flavorful and the orange peel chicken and spicy garlic shrimp were so delicious.I have to give recognition to one of the employees and I did not catch his name. He's a tall young man around 6'3" and about 18-20 years old. He was so respectful and personable, and provided an amazing customer service. He was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed, and would often check on us. He's one of the main reasons why I will return, you just don't see a lot of respectful young people like him these days and he really made the whole experience so much better.I recommend eating here, they also do take out, but the atmosphere was nice, customer service great, and it made for a nice evening after visiting a sick family member in the hospital.

Good service good food. Food was tasty however, fortune cookies mediocre. The young man waiting on us was very nice pleasant to deal with.

So worth your money! The quality and taste are excellent. Their prices are very reasonable. And they make the food to your taste, I love this place, I drive several miles just to get their excellent Chinese cuisine, it's so worth it.

The food is very flavorful, fresh, and satisfying. We had the string bean chicken, orange chicken, bbq pork fried rice, and vegetable egg foo young.

Its fresh. The location is dark but clean. So don't be fooled by the low lighting. I like the dinner options. I got the kung pao and a kids size of the sweet and sour chicken. The dinner comes with 3 appetizers and I got a Jasmine tea. The egg roll was not too thick or oily. A nice chicken/veggie mixture was tasty. Everything was very hot from being just cooked. The portions were nice. I had plenty to take home. My only issues: I thought the "kids size" ss chicken was going to be a requested mixed entree I requested. That was a miscommunication that resulted in an additional $8 charge for the kids meal. Fair, but wish I had gotten the main dish as the ss chicken vs the kung pao.Kung pao was more of a cashew chicken with peanuts/peppers/addtl veggies instead. Still good but it was such a large portion of something that I thought would be a split size with the ss chicken (a miscommunication). The plates both came with fried rice. I enjoyed the rice. It has a great texture. Flavor was very good and was well prepared. Sauces were delicious. You'll want to take some for your leftovers. The tea was great! I had to sit and finish the pot as it was very relaxing and a VERY nice blend. The Jasmine and the green tea were equally balanced.I would come back. I think this is a great place. Family owned and WELL run with the freshness, ingredients and the multiple to go orders as tables came in to dine, too. Staff is friendly! Especially the young man with the big hair. All in all a pleasant experience.
