IHOP seems to have lost its charm over time. The service is okay, but not as good as it used to be. The food quality has declined significantly. The steak and eggs dinner was disappointing with a thin steak and cold sides. The portions, especially the burger patties, seem to be shrinking. However, the pancakes are still good and some items like the omelet and chicken quesadilla were enjoyable. The restaurant might be a quick option, but the high cost does not match the average quality of the food. The cleanliness of the place could also be improved, and the service, although friendly, can be slow.
