Terrible service. We came here after the gym for dinner. The host/waiter asked us if we had a reservation. We said no and he told us where to sit. For 40 minutes we sat trying to get service. A waitress would stare at us and take other orders including people who came after us. The host would smile and wave at us but not come over to bring a menu. We got up to leave and he waved at us. Weird and rude.

We ate here on Valentine’s Day, and the place was really busy, with people constantly coming in and out. Unfortunately, we were seated right by the door, so every time it opened, a cold draft hit us, which definitely took away from the experience. It would’ve been nice if someone was stationed at the entrance to manage the flow of people before they walked in.
Service was surprisingly slow, even though there were plenty of employees. The hummus and salad were good, but the entrées were pretty bland—underseasoned, just like the rice, which made everything feel kind of flat. Dessert wasn’t much better; it was cold and hard, like it had just come straight from the freezer.
Overall, it wasn’t terrible, but it definitely wasn’t great. Some things were decent, but between the seating, slow service, and lackluster food, it didn’t really live up to expectations.

Totally disappointed after reading these great reviews. I walked in the restaurant expecting to smell all the spices. No smells at all. We got the lamb guvec stew, the falafel and the SRP beef. All were BLAND. It's like no spices were added to our dishes. Everyone said the lamb would fall off the bone. I struggled to tear pieces off the bone.
We had to add a variety of spices we had at home to make the dishes to taste ok. Furthermore, the dishes are expensive. If you pay a lot for a meal, you expect it to be delicious.

Called to ask a question before l drove in and hung up after a 5 minute wait. They did call me back at 6 minute mark.

Won't be back.

Our take out order was over $70 dollars. My husband rated the food as "okay" that the shawarma was a bit dry and needed additional sauce or flavor. The shrimp kabob was good along with the rice. I will say with the fact that our order was so expensive and that we made an additional order for hummus, the restaurant could have provided us with more than "ONE" pita bread for the hummus. I was really disappointed to only see one bread provided for such a large order.

Been checking out all the Greek / Mediterranean spots around Murrieta and Temecula. This one was pretty good. It was packed when I arrived so did takeout instead.

Food: not bad .. we got chicken kabob and shrimp kabob. As expected but my daughter didn’t love the rice.

Price: not outrageous

Atmosphere: very friendly staff; I would come back because the staff seemed welcoming and accommodating. The decor is outdated but who cares.

4 stars for the service and food!

Kid-friendliness: Plenty of kids when I went.

Wheelchair accessibility: It’s ground floor and they should be able to make space for a WC.

Besides poor communication from the staff, everything else was great. The lamb was perfectly cooked medium rare.

Service was great and the ambiance was pretty decent but their food was just ok.
My husband had the lamb shank and he was pretty happy about his meal. I could tell that the meat was tender. However, I was not happy with my beef shawarma. The meat was dry and the onion sauce did not really do anything to the meat.

Located on Murrieta Hot Springs Rd between Margarita Rd & Via Princesa, in a shopping center behind Jack in the Box with plenty of parking.
We walked in on a Thursday evening, and we seated immediately. I took my husband here for his birthday dinner as he loves Mediterranean food. 1st time at Kan Zaman, and I'm impressed! Definitely the best, authentic Mediterranean food I've had.
As an appetizer, we had their 'Hummus', which is served with Pita bread, so good!
I tried their 'Shawarma Rice Platter' with beef, accompanied with a glass of 'Sangria'. My husband had their 'Mediterranean Shrimp Spaghetti' with a 'Peroni' Italian beer. We both loved our dish, tasted delicious with fresh ingredients, great presentation, and simply cooked to perfection. For dessert, I ordered their 'Traditional Baklava' to-go, which is made in-house and super good. Portions are very generous, and prices are fair.
Service is amazing! Shout out to our server, 'Kevin', he was extremely attentive and helpful with the menu. 'Maggie' was also great! They both kept checking up on us, making sure we were good our entire visit.
The restaurant is very clean, with beautiful decor and a coffered ceiling.
Overall, we had a pleasant experience and can't wait to return and try more of their menu items.

We have visited Kan Zaman more than a handful of times, always been one of our favorites, The last time however the service was not good. The server kept having conversations with the kitchen staff in the open kitchen in non English language. Just bad manners.

Kam Zaman is a hidden gem in Murrieta! The food is delicious, the service is outstanding, and the atmosphere is romantic and beautiful. Maggie is a very attentive, and friendly server. We will definitely be back and I’m already looking forward to it!

Great food cooked right ! Nicely grilled lamb and chicken kabobs without the burnt dryness. Bravo ! The salad that comes with the meal had a light dressing that complimented the main meal well. Portions are substantial. Bathroom.... didn't need it .
