Their food is pretty good for the type of food it is, and the portions are generous. This is a basic All-American restaurant with chicken fried steak, pot roast, and fried chicken. The waitress is very courteous and go out of the way to be helpful.
Enjoyed another brunch at Black Bear. I tried the cinnamon roll French toast and it was just ok. But everything else was great! Other than parking being a little tough to find at peak times I always enjoy this place!
It's like eating in a California forest themed Big Boy or Bob Evans. The server was snarky and the food was acceptable but didn't stand out in any way. Maybe I'll try breakfast next time since it is served all day and seemed pretty extensive. Portions were large but in my opinion not worth bringing home leftovers so kind of a waste. I'd rather smaller portions and lower prices. Definitely not on my list of places to seek out but won't skip it if I'm...
