I want to leave a fair review here because I've never had Hawaiian food. All things considered it was really good. I lovedddd the spam musubi dish. I also ordered the Hawaiian burger and the mixed combo platter. Everything was good, but just really dry. I think from the pictures and videos I've seen of Hawaiian food, I was expecting saucey flavored goodness but this wasn't that. That can very well be my ignorance or my American need to want something saucy. I just felt like the food was very dry and even the pictures of the food at this restaurant didn't match to what I received. Maybe San Diego wasn't the best best place to test out a first time experience, so I look forward to it another time!

The chicken katsu with curry is so delicious! ? one of my favorite comfort meals and the portions are quite generous.
We are new to the area and wanted to give this place a try. I am a pescatarian so I appreciated that the staff was able to tell me what ingredients were in their food. I really enjoyed the tuna Mac. My husbands favorite is the Loco Moco.

My wife and I moved to Murrieta last week and I've been craving Hawaiian food! This place was nearby on the way home and I gotta say it was amazing. The staff was knowledgeable about what was in their food and quick to take my order. The service there was amazing and the food was fantastic. I got the Loco Moco and my wife for a side of Mac. Wonderful services, wonderful food, I'll be coming back.

First and last time here. 55 dollars for two plates and a spam order (8 dollars for tiniest spam musubi I have ever seen) This is the smallest amount of food I have ever gotten from a Hawaiian BBQ spot. But they charge the same prices as any normal spot with large portions. You pay large prices for large portions. Everyone knows that when they come to Hawaiian BBQ. Here you get two small scoops of rice, one small scoop of Mac, with one large price of 15-20 dollars for a plate. Please, unless you got F-you money, don't come here.

Ohana BBQ must have listened to the complaints, because my Kailua pork and cabbage serving was perfect, about 60/40 ratio. The only complaint I have is that the portion was so huge and so good that I ate all of it, ruining my girlish figure

I used to go once a week. The food started going downhill. Taste was horrible. I was also getting sick. They were always out of certain condiments which I didn't care for but just something seemed off. I did call to talk to the owner but I don't think it was owner. It sounded like a kid. I need to go back because I've seen the owner a a bunch of times. I brought my friend and I two meals which cost me $37. I don't mind paying that much for food for a friend I. I just bought myself food the following week and it was horrible and I threw up right away. The taste was super different and I don't know what was wrong but I called back and they didn't have an answer for me. They said everything was the same. It's been going downhill overtime and I just wanted to make this reference so people know! Also, they stopped serving the same amount of food and charged me the same so I am going to a different Hawaiian barbecue from now on. I really respected this place and hospitality. I don't appreciate being lied to and also getting sick!

I've heard of this place but never came out this way to try it until now. We didn't have a problem with parking. It was very easy to find also. The plates were very well portioned. My daughter tried the katsu and she enjoyed it more than her usual. My husband had the mix plate and no complaints there. That Mac salad tho! Not too far from the house so def a plus. Customer service was great! Won't be our last
