I get there's new owners, but food is not good anymore. This used to be my favorite Chinese food place, been a customer for over 15 years, even when it changed from peony to palms, food still tasted pretty similar. It doesn't taste fresh anymore, food tastes like frozen dinners, noodles are super skinny and taste funny, menu changed so a few of my favorite items are gone and prices went up significantly. Spent $67 on 4 entrees. I don't think we will be back unfortunately.

Wow what happened to this place. Been going here 14 years and now everything has changed. No more house chicken, and skinny noodles that taste like tomato sauce. So sad to see a good thing go bad. Will not be back. Will be going to Peonies in Temecula.

They don’t have house beef, the noodles are very small and the fried rice tastes so different than how it used to. Bring back the old Palms please. The new Palms is just not good. It had to be said. The service was fast and the workers were friendly. The food is not the same anymore.

Terrible. What happened? No longer have teriyaki chicken on menu. Everything else I ordered had changed in recipe. Different orange chicken. House chow mein bland and use of thinner noodles now. Did the owners change in the last few months for it use to be my favorite.

Really enjoyed the food here. Is a great walk in spot for take out, or you can actually eat in there. Everything was made fresh and fast and tasted great. Portions are excellent and you will probably take some home! I enjoyed the broccoli beef and Mongolian beef. I highly recommend!

I have been going here for almost 30 years. I even hosted my wedding rehearsal dinner here. The Palms, (previously known as Peonys) was a Murrieta staple. Sadly, that restaurant that we all used know & love is gone. The comfort food that we relied on after a tough day is gone. They may be backpacking off the name & reputation of a legend but the legend had died & left in its place is a sad shell of their former glory. The new owners have taken away the joy that was The Palms Murrieta. A few weeks ago I ordered the sweet & pungent chicken, white meat only, with extra wontons lunch special. If I knew that would be the last time I would enjoy that vintage taste I grew to rely on, I would have ordered 2 & savored every last bite. I would have licked the styrofoam clean instead of letting my dog do it for me. Although, I know how special The Palms was to him as well so I'm thankful he was able to enjoy it one last time. The Palms will be greatly missed. Don't trust the imposters among us. The new Palms is a wolf in sheep's clothing. They have slaughtered the good name & replaced it with food that causes one to weep & grieve. To end on a positive note, the staff was very kind... even though I think it's wrong that the owners are deceiving our good town.

So DISAPPOINTED!! Palms(Peony) used to be a trademark Chinese place in Murrieta!! They’ve completely ruined their menu and got rid of fan favorite items like chicken chow mein and house chicken!! Horrible!!

They don't have sweet and pungent chicken anymore and got a new owner and don’t go through Grubhub anymore.

Been going here for 10+ years. Sad to write this, but food has change completely in the last few months. Reminds me of Panda Express now. Also prices have almost doubled.

Yuck! Went here for the 1st time (September 2023) and it's terrible and expensive! The air in the restaurant felt greasy. The food smelled bad in the car. The noodles were overcooked and mushy. The orange chicken was dry and stringy.I felt sick after eating it.

Sweet and pungent chicken is the best. And unique.Atmosphere? It's a waiting area. They did away with in-house eating during Covid. Can't blame them at all.

Moo shu pork comes with little to no pork just cabbage and onions. The walnut shrimp and pork buns are good. Overpriced for what you get.
