Pho Tho in Murrieta managed to disappoint on every level. serving a bowl of pho with weak, flavorless, barely warm broth, chewy and low quality meat, skimpy portions that don’t justify the high prices, slow and service that makes you feel like an inconvenience, and an overall careless, inconsistent vibe that makes it hard to believe anyone in charge actually tastes the food or cares whether customers leave satisfied.
We drive 15min to this place even though we have a closer Pho place just because the food is that much better.

Fantastic pho! The food was incredibly fresh and flavorful, and the service was top-notch. Pricing is very reasonable for the quality and portions. One of the best pho spots I’ve tried. You have to try the Vietnamese chicken sandwich and the house special pho—both are amazing. Highly recommended, and I’ll be back for sure!

I wasn’t done eating and they came took the empty dishes and proceeded to charge us and take payment there. Never going back don’t like being rushed while eating.

I ordered chicken pho—simple enough, right? Wrong. Halfway through eating, I found pieces of tripe in my bowl. If you know pho, you know tripe is absolutely not part of chicken pho. At that point, my appetite was completely gone.
When I politely asked to speak to the owner and requested to only be charged for the noodles and broth (since the order was clearly wrong), he completely lost it. Instead of resolving the issue like a professional, he started yelling at me, was incredibly rude, and then kicked me out of the restaurant.
To make it even worse, I still ended up paying $38 for a meal I couldn’t even eat.
Terrible food handling, zero customer service, and outright disrespect. This place doesn’t deserve anyone’s money. Easily one of the worst restaurants I’ve ever been to in my life. Do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else.

I have NO IDEA how this place is a 3.9 stars. I went with my friend and they wanted pho so I took her to this place as it was the nearest near me. OMG THAT WAS A MISTAKE! The customer service was atrocious. They used old ingredients and some of them were so old that they had a foul taste. I asked the waiter in a polite manner to address the situation and they called over a manager and the manager started yelling at us and making a scene. During this time, me and friend are just looking at each other, wondering what’s is happening rn. It didn’t not feel like real life and I am baffled as to how they managed to have any customers with attitudes and manners like that. I wouldn’t be surprised if they do things to your food before they serve you or they choose who they want to be nice to. That is NOT how you run a restaurant and they should be ASHAMED to call themselves that. Overall, just avoid this place at all costs.

We have been coming to the restaurant before new owners and new owner is extremely rude, They didn’t have a high chair seat for my 2yr old. They provided a booster which my son has fallen off because a kid is clumsy. all kids are. My son is 25lbs and they wouldn’t let him sit in a high chair. Nor do they provide it. They just lost a customer.

We are a regular customers of this restaurant because it’s really closer to our sons’ taekwondo place and all the servers of this place can attest to that. Our interest with this resto ended tonight coz of a very bad experience with a guy who boastfully claimed that he’s the manager. For so many times that we dined in at this resto, it’s our very first time that we encountered the guy. We are pretty sure that he’s the owner bcoz he has the nerve to argue with us, he has no humility and respect at all to us the customers. The problem arises when we were still happily enjoying our dinner then he approached our table and asking if we are done with the plates on our table. He’s in a hurry and keep asking if we are done eating etc etc etc. we found it kinda rude and disrespectful bcoz some of us are still eating and he keeps on approaching are table and getting the plates that he thinks we are not touching anymore. We lost our appetite when he started doing that several times so after my husband paid bcoz he came back to our table again and asking me if I’m already done then I said I’m still eating, that’s the time my husband corrected him that what he’s doing is not nice and he should let us enjoy our food first before he keeps on coming back to our table and keep asking if we are done eating and getting all the plates that he thinks are unused. For some reasons that we don’t know, It seems like he’s really in a hurry to clean up all the dirty dishes even customers are still enjoying the foods well in fact it’s only past 7pm. The surprising part was when my husband told him that tonight will be the last time we gonna eat at their resto, he made a hand gestures by boastfully putting them up in the air and telling us “ Yeah don’t go back here anymore. Go ahead. “ then in front of all the other customers eating, he clapped his hands seems like he’s giving us a signal that we need to go leave as fast as we could from their resto. He has no empathy and even shouting at my husband while answering back. Then he started saying things in a very loud voice using his Vietnamese language talking to all the servers out there which is again very rude bcoz we don’t have any ideas at all what he’s saying. We don’t even know if he’s cursing us already or saying bad words against us. That’s why we are positive that he’s the owner and not only the manager because a decent manager won’t even disrespect customers like what he did to us. A kind of manager or owner like him shouldn’t run a resto like what he has because he doesn’t even know the true meaning of customer service, humility, respect and customers rights. I’m not sure if we are the only ones who had a bad experience with him. But Hoping you guys won’t even experience at all.

Have you ever wanted to spend your hard earned money on bland overpriced and lack luster food , not to mention atrocious service ? Well this is just the place for that. One of the younger waitresses was so incredibly rude. She cut me off in the middle of ordering , wouldn’t come by for the entire meal despite the restaurant being empty , she rolled her eyes , and laughed right in front of us while we ordered. The wait for basic services took me longer than any other restaurant I’ve ever been to. The food is no where near worth the price . Save yourself from a headache and eat anywhere else but here .
The service and food was great! The food was brought out within 5-7 minutes after ordering. Can’t beat that! The waiters were really good and would check frequently to see if anything was needed. We went at 5pm on Friday and the staff was on point, all 3 waiters waited on us too so that was nice, they just pretty much rotated each table but at the same time knew what each table was doing. So I gotta say their attention to detail was spot on! Thanks for the great food and great service!

This review is solely for Jacob’s service (young male server). Thank you for being an absolute sweetheart! He helped me out with a takeout order and was super hospitable while I waited. This place is lucky to have you! 🤝

Nothing like a hot bowl of Pho on a 100 degree day. Good thing Pho Tho has good air conditioning. We have been wanting to try this restaurant for awhile and decided to try it for lunch. It is conveniently located not far off the 215 on Murrieta Hot Springs. It is a spacious restaurant situated in a strip plaza with a lot of parking. We are shown to a booth and water to our table within seconds. With menu's in hand we both opt for the shrimp spring rolls and chicken pho. Before we know it our lunch is table side ready to be doctored and enjoyed. Spring rolls are pretty large and the peanut sauce is some of the best we have experienced in the area. The pho is extremely delicious with many fresh ingredients. The broth is flavorful with real hunks of chicken and oodles of noodles. Again, some of the best we have experienced in the area. Service is outstanding complete with smiles and never did our water glass reach empty. Price is on point with other Pho establishments and they also offer 30% off from 4-8 pm M-Th. Our visit to Pho Tho was 5 stars. We will be back.
