Proper Bakery + Cafe

We eat out once per week, and this week decided to try this bakery. The lavender latte with a touch of mocha was a custom drink with a flavor reminiscent of coconut but the coffee itself was aromatic and mellow. The kochele pastry (hot dog in croissant bun) was soft, flavorful, and not dry.

Waited 15 minutes for the girl to put my cinnamon roll in a box. No one in front of me and I was the only one in there, instead she started making coffee drinks so I had to go up and ask about my cinnamon roll…

Delicious cookies and food!

We came for our valentines brunch and loved everything about it! I had the chicken cibatta sandwich, my husband had the grilled cheese and we shared the sweet bun roll! The taro milk tea and caramel cloud coffee was good. Everything was amazing the owner is the sweetest! We will def come back! 🤗

This cafe does not offer anything Gluten Free so we were unable to order food.

Amazing food and drinks! Support small local family owned businesses like this one! I went in with my wife and kids and everyone enjoyed their food, even the picky little eaters we have. The Breakfast burritos were big and flavorful, good ratio of filling to tortilla. Salsa was flavorful, not too spicy, a great combination. The cinnamon roll was warm, fresh, and amazingly good! I’d recommend eating that in house while it’s hot and fresh. Their baked goods were also delicious with a nice variety of flavors. We’ll definitely be back and support good food from good people!

Really love this spot! Every drink I’ve tried has been delicious, I think my favorite right now is the coconut dream- topped with real shaved coconut.

The breakfast burritos are large and filling, and the bakery items are fresh and delicious!

If you’ve never had a kolache- do yourself a favor and get one here!

Wow! We were having our car serviced so we walked over to The Proper Cafe. If you are looking for hand CRAFTED quality cafe breakfast, this is the place. Handcrafted cinnamon rolls with breakfast tacos hit the mark. The cinnamon roll was warm, appropriately gooey, and reminded me of my mom’s kitchen artistry. The tacos had simple but delicious ingredients with a super fresh and tasty salsa. The coffee is perfectly brewed and not bitter! A quaint and classy atmosphere tops it off. Definitely a 5 star breakfast! I will be back!!!

Loved everything about this place! As a first-time customer, I was blown away by the service — having food and drinks delivered right to the table was such a nice touch.
