The custard is amazing

The owner hosted an awesome, entirely free tour for our group. The kids loved it and the italian ice and custard were both delicious. 😍 definitely a fun summer trip!

They also have a cute little kid's size bench and even a mini couch/chair area, which makes the outing even more special than any typical ice cream shop.

Such a cute, charming place with amazing custard, gelato, and Italian ice!! There are a lot of unique flavors to choose from, and different things to order. I opted for the 5 layer gelati, which is five layers of both gelato and Italian ice. I chose the flavors birthday cake (gelato) and cotton candy (ice), it was such a good combination!! The gelato is so creamy, and the ice is like a gourmet shaved ice. I would highly recommend this place for a unique dessert.

Good ice cream and friendly staff. The place itself was dirty, the floor was sticky and the one trash can was hidden, so people were leaving trash on a table.

Never lets us down and the staff are all very patient and friendly!

Took our grandson there for a treat! We both enjoyed and it was good!

Rita’s is not only delicious but they give back to the community so much!

Ritas is ok. Its different to have a frizen custard, which is similar to a thick frozen pudding.
Pricey. $6 for a small soft serve cone.
Girl working the counter is polite and friendly.
Major issues with cleanliness of entire store.

Kids chairs near bathroom are absolutely filthy.
Probably should be thrown out.
Floor is dirty to the corners. Clear evidence of very very poor cleaning.
Table tops have visible smears and are sticky.
Clear food smeared all over floor and tables.
Even the trash can is so filthy you dont want to touch it. The owner needs to spend proper time cleaning and presenting a professional business for these prices.
If they cant clean the customer area thoroughly, what about their kitchen?

We may come back, but infrequently.

Even though we live in Lake Elsinore, we happily make the drive for this incredible Italian ice. It’s that good! My kids absolutely love it, and it’s become a special treat for our family. Definitely worth the trip!

It has been a while since we have been to Rita's. Friendly service. The food was good, but the proportion of italian ice to custard seems to have changed. Given the food costs, it is possible they have reduced custard to save money. It would be nice as a diabetic to have sugar-free options.
