This restaurants saving grace is their wait staff. They were absolutely the sweetest so I'll lead with that. The food itself was the issue. Things that should be hot were cold and vice versa. Most of the rolls looked quite a mess and were warm. I've never ordered a Philly roll where the cream cheese was melting. We ordered a baked roll and there's was so much piled on top, the edges were baked and the center was just warm and raw. The salad was just large cut romaine with a vinegar dressing and the teriyaki beef was just barely cooked and quite bland. Even the soup was not very good. The last straw was finding two bones in the salmon in my rolls. I'm hoping it was just an off day for them. They came highly recommended... but as a regular sushi family... these arent issues we've ever experienced before. There's a first and a last time for everything and sometimes that's the same day??♀️.

This is good, but this was the first time me and my lady had went to this Chinese/sushi bar. I ordered the shrimp crunch roll and she ordered two oyster shots. Everything was delicious and fresh and super reasonable with the prices. We had a great time, talking to the head chef, he was very nice and humble, and even provided us with a free appetizer that included fried crab with rice and delicious mushrooms. We will definitely be back

The dining room looks like a QSR; however, if you enjoy select cuts of sushi/sashimi, this place is impressive. . .especially away from the coastline. They didn't have mirugai on hand, but it was on the menu. I asked for engawa as I saw hirame listed and the chef complied. Every dish was prepared in the expected manner of a respectable sushi restaurant. Toro, uni, and aji were exceptional. Ate more than my share--want to dine there again.
