Don’t waste your time. I tried warning my boyfriend when we arrived that the recent reviews were nothing to brag about but he wanted “the experience.” And while we got “an experience” it wasn’t one we wanted. We were so disappointed we didn’t even stay to eat.1st we were seated at a table that wobbled so much I was concerned that our drinks would spill. My boyfriend asked if we could have something to put under the table to stop it from wobbling and the waitress brought a small piece of wood and pushed it next to the leg of the table instead of underneath the uneven leg to make it stable. I did this myself. 2nd the menu is very unclear and as we were asking our waitress for clarification she wasn’t very sure either and was having to ask other people over and over, including the manager who came by to clarify. I pointed out to the manager that the menu is falsely advertising multiple of a side item despite her saying we would be charged for a second. She acknowledged that it was wrong and merely shrugged it off as a typo that she wouldn’t honor. We left shortly after this conversation.Also, there are no military or senior discounts. I’d be surprised if this place lasts long because the ignorance when it comes to providing good service and honoring your own menu is baffling.

Just came in for some garlic bread to go at 920p. Website says they close at 10p. Girl was rude and said they close early on weekdays. I asked what time she said 9p done in 915p takeout. I asked to make an exception being that it’s only 5 minutes after and only garlic bread. Flat out rude NO. Came in the weekend before and dropped $300, service wasn’t great then either… last time for sure. They should make that clear on the website

Thecajuntrap is a perfect place to go with your family or your partner. The food is super delicious. Everything is super delicious. Come and enjoy the house drinks. They serve you super well. The atmosphere is very good. I recommend it 100%.

The food was good, wish I was feeling better that day so I could enjoy it more. I had the fried shrimp and fries. They were great about accommodating my mom's allergies. My only complaint was the music was way too loud.

I came here the other night with friends. I forgot our servers name but she was great, very attentive and helped with any questions my friends had (it was their first time at a crab boil place). It's definitely a nice vibe in there, all the things hanging around in there are pretty cool, also the music was great. The food was good I got Cajun fries, shrimp with rice and sausage. It was flavorful. We got drinks and we all enjoyed what we drank. I would recommend this place for a fun date night or friend's night out for sure.

It gets no better than this seafood giant. I've been to several places that serve good seafood but I've only been to one place that has mastered the preparation of making outstanding seafood, this place rocks and the service is beyond approach who ever came up with this idea is years ahead of the others. My favorite place when I need a great place to visit and be in a great vibe environment. Keep up the outstanding work...

I went the other day to have dinner here walked in asked how long was the wait they told me 45 min to a hour so I was like ok I’ll wait we sat in the car out side seen the place was about half full.. so we waited about a hour I walked back in and asked again how much longer the hostess told me about 45min to a hour. I asked her there’s atlease 10 tables open she then told me those we’re reserved for reservations at 7:30 and they wouldn’t take a walk in until 9 .. I told her u do realize it’s 8 and you could have told me u don’t take walking ins at 7 when I first came in here.. I’m still waiting on a text saying my tables ready lol this isn’t the first time either went one time in the late afternoon time the place literally had no one in their still was a 45 min wait lolIf I want boiling crab I’ll take my business elsewhere
Would not recommend at all. Ordered a a boil with potatoes, shrimp, ramen. Potatoes were enormous and not cooked thoroughly. Shrimp was not fresh at all, tasted days old. Ramen- never got to taste it as I was not provided it despite being charged for it.If raw potatoes, old shrimp, and forgotten items are what you was looking for this is the spot.

gave this place a second chance and had a far better experience the second time around. the food was so much better and i actually enjoyed my time here. the service was great , our waitress was so kind. i'm still not too crazy about the super loud music, i felt like i was yelling just to talk to my family. great work cajun trap!

We went here on a date night. The staff was very friendly and the food was good. It was a little salty though and I wish they had a full bar. But we are super excited to know we can get a crab boil down the street! Cant wait to try other dishes.

Do not order the blue crab! It's absolutely disgusting! Waste of money, no meat on the tiny crab! $20 to leave you with an empty stomach. Sauce was disgusting extremely over seasoned. I don't know about the other dishes, but I would not recommend it.

Had the octopus meal. It was rubbery. Additionally they presented the food with flimsy plastic utensils. I thought the frock was going to break. I asked the server for real silverware, and she said it wasn't available. I saw a sign on the wall saying the place wasn't fast service. Really!!!! Very Disappointed.
