Let's get into it. The food here is AMAZING! their short rib poutine is not to be missed! They do Irish pub food and they do it right! Some innovative dishes (their pasties) and plenty of traditional irish dishes that are so delightful and authentic. The only points I deduct are atmospheric because it does lean heavily into neighborhood bar territory. I even went on a Wednesday afternoon and there were plenty of locals just sitting and drinking around the bar watching TV....

Always a great time at Shammies! The chicken schnitzel meal is absolutely amazing. Also, the shepherds’ pie and the fish and chips are great. One of the only places around where you can have an awesome meal, some drinks and a cigar on the patio. Love it!

This is what you want an Irish Pub to be. The food, the people, the music! We have tried most of the entrees and recommend them all. The pretzel appetizer looked huge until it was gone. It's a family favorite.
