Ordered a mushroom pasta, which was very good. However while I was eating it, I notice a hair in the bowl. I told a person who was bussing our table (our server was nowhere to be found) and they said they would take care of it. By that point, I didn’t even want the plate anymore and our server still didn’t come to the table before the bowl was replaced. I wanted to tell her to take the dish off as I didn’t want it anymore but she didn’t even tend to us! who we believed was the manager stopped by and apologized but by that time the food had been replaced… which I didn’t even want. Grossed me out, they charged me full price for the plate, didn’t offer to comp it or anything after finding a hair! Gross.

A16 Napa is one of those local spots that just always delivers. I’ve been here multiple times—dinners with friends and even big group gatherings—and it’s consistently excellent. The team is so welcoming and genuinely happy to have you there, and they always give great recommendations.

The pork chop is my absolute favorite (trust me, it’s worth it!), and the portions are generous enough that I usually go home with leftovers. The cocktails are fantastic, and the prices are super fair for the quality and experience.

It’s one of those rare places that feels both special and comfortable every single time you go. Highly recommend to anyone—locals or visitors alike!

The venue was designed and decorated beautifully. The food was amazing but having a main server that was lacking in personality was enough to put a damper on the experience. It was as though he could care less about waiting on us. The rest of the help staff was very congenial and friendly.

Great pizzas, selection of wine. We've been there three times already and it's becoming our favorite place in Napa.

This was our first time dining away from the bar. Hard to believe how small the portions are. Not a good value at all. Salads are too small to share. Little Gem salad was 4 pieces of lettuce and 3 slices of watermelon radish. Panzanella salad was only tomato and croutons. Pasta dishes were good but way too small. Pizza was excellent

Even the best restaurants have an occasional mistep and kitchen mishit. My order had one ? The server instantly said, I will handle. He and the kitchen resolved and a new entre was spectacular. Great 👍

Terrible meal After the salad it went downhill The fritto misto was burnt and pieces very small The pizza was soggy and at best only room temperature This is not the A16 I remember in San Francisco

Outstanding service, delicious food, and creative drinks made the evening unforgettable — with a special touch for Nathan. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Napa Valley!

A new & absolutely delicious restaurant in Napa. While the pizza is a feature on the menu, it was the other dishes that really stood out to us!

Our favorites:
marinated olives
fritto misto
squid ink tonnarelli
cavatelli
pork chop

Visited yesterday. Bright well decorated pleasant space. Good cocktails, but food was mixed: pizza vesuvio was soggy (too much sauce), summer beans and the arugula salad were excellent, but the arrosticini was chewy and the ravioli was gummy and served lukewarm. I asked for some bread and the bread served was stale! They get a lot of compliments about their wine list, but choices of wine by the glass are limited and the pours are ridiculously small like 3 or 4 oz. I asked for their most full bodied Italian red and was poured an Aglianico for $23 ($92 for a bottle) so not a place to drink wines by the glass. They were open about one month. So we’ll give them a few months to get the wrinkles out and perhaps try them again. Their San Francisco restaurant has a great reputation.

Great food and service. My only suggestion would be to have a bit more space between the tables and guests. We had a very loud person next to us that was distracting to our table making it hard to communicate. Again minor and not fault of restaurant but good to know if you have an issue with privacy and loud environments.

I was very excited to hear that Napa would get an Italian restaurant that was focused on the southern region of Puglia. Finally tried it with my husband this weekend, and it left a little bit to be desired! Just as we entered to be seated, a man walked out stating that it felt too cramped. We soon realized what he meant—they literally had to slide the table over to let you into the booth side of the table. Pretty crazy, way too tight. You could tell that the service was working out the kinks. Our waiter asked if we wanted water, was off to get it, and another person came by for the same thing and seemed confused. Waiter also mixed up our table/order. I did enjoy the food, some dishes provided more value than others. But ultimately the experience and price point would not lead me to choose this over other Italian spots in town. I hope it improves!
