I don't have any experience in the making of wine , however I've been in the Altamura family for 59 years of my life.Worked for James Altamura selling wine in Destin Chops restaurant for a few yes wich was a great experience. I also passed my sommelier certificate level exam which I'll never forget but I found the Altamura cab one of the best tasting wines I'd ever had .and would be interested in any aspect of investing in it.

Best winery in all of Napa! Great people and always an intimate tasting, unlike most Napa vineyards. If I went on a 3 day trip again, I’d probably go there all 3 days. Just an overall great, personal experience every time!
I had Altamure at their restaurant in Yountville. I have tried nearly all the restaurants in Yountville, and I enjoyed the experience here the most. Altamure wine is incredible luster. My fav are the 2016 cab and 2013 negroamaro. Amazing wine maker!!!

I was getting ready to order some more of their wine and couldn't believe it wasn't all 5 star reviews, so I felt obligated to defend them. Have no idea what experience could have caused the 1 stars. We LOVE this winery and all the people there - in addition to fantastic wine. We ate at their restaurant and tasted the wine there first a couple of years ago, then made an effort to search them out on our next visit and have been back twice. We drink a LOT of there wines. The quality, service, and people have always been fantastic. They stand behind their products. The winery is fun to drive to as it is off by itself in a lesser traveled part of Napa and very low key. We try to visit them any time we are in the area. The facility is basically a farmhouse, but a very nice and clean one....not sure what that comment was about, either.
