We are locals and this is our favorite sushi spot in Napa. We know to avoid crowded days/times as service can get slow. However, the fish is fresh and delicious. The nigiri portions are incredibly generous. The staff are great!
I ❤️ Amami! The best sushi in town. As good as the sushi in Anytown USA. And at a very reasonable price. The service is awesome, and being very busy can have an effect, but it is always kind and hospitable.
I did not expect this when I walked in . Service was reallygood. The sushi was exceptional. We started with tako salad. Thinly sliced pieces that were so tender, with lightly pickled delicious cucumbers chunks on a bed of seaweed salad. Very good! This was followed by saba nigari, which was generous slices of fish that had been lightly torched on pressed rice. It was phenomenal! The light char flavor was an unexpected pleasure. Finally, we had a chefs choice 10 piece selection....
