Valentine's day and celebrating a birthday, We ordered the Salmon Benedict and the Steak and Eggs. The server was very nice and there was a beautiful atmosphere, we had such a high expectations. 120$ for an overcooked boiled steak, 7 little potatoes and the whites of the poached egg (on the Salmon Benedict) were severely undercooked. We finished and didn't want to complain, but we ended up going to another restaurant after because we were so disappointed.

It is expensive as you would expect for an auberge resort in Napa but the food is delicious. I give it a 4/5 because the price was a bit ostentatious--$9 for half an avocado...

But, it was delicious. Tried the shakshuka, it was probably one of the best I've ever had. The cocktails were great. I would recommend for a special outing but not for an everyday meal.

Kid-friendliness: Breakfast was very kid friendly.

Wheelchair accessibility: All one level with no obvious obstacles.

We stayed on property and ate here for many meals. One of the night was thanksgiving, where they had a pre fix menu, one of which was a more traditional thanksgiving meal. Everything was pretty good, nothing that stand-out though.

They seem to prep a lot of stuff ahead of time which is great, but there are some things like toast and baked Brie that should be made fresh with each order.

We did order room service from here one night as well and it was the fastest service I’ve ever had with room service and the burger was delicious.

When I rate places I do it against their competitors. So I’m rating this against other high end places. The highlights were the farm fresh vegetable crudite with a nut/miso dip. I used to eat at Cafe Gratitude a lot but this is one of my favorite raw mix ups anywhere.

The miyake oysters were over powered by the passion fruit sauce still amazing - just a personal preference. Maybe the best scallops I’ve ever had in my life and the same for the ravioli like pasta whose name I can’t remember. I

love pumpkin pie so their pumpkin concoction was too extra for me. But their reinvented apple pie in a glass was too die for. Loved the wine pairings suggested by Tad.

Definitely a place to return to.

The restaurant has interesting ideas to infuse Asian cooking ingredients into different dishes but the taste of different dishes could be a hit or miss. for example tuna tartare with seaweed chips taste good but the fish looks not so fresh so they cover the fish with sliced scallions. Another chip and dip with wild boars is really really salty and stir fry broccoli very salty and spicy too. Fried rice balls are very greasy but at least taste good. Baked potatoes is wonderful. The steak is absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is relaxing and beautiful. The staff is also very friendly. It’s a restaurant we could come again probably for lunch to enjoy more its settings and the resort.

Incredible restaurant. I went with a group of 9, and we got nearly 1 of everything on the menu. The "shortribs for the table" is a must-order!
