Ice cream is awesome as always.
After we paid and tipped (for scooping ice cream.) We then asked for a glass of tap water for the kids and the workers said, “We’re not allowed to give out tap water. We sell it by the bottle.”
Odd to ask for a 20% tips for overpriced ice cream and then turn around and not give your clientele water that is FREE to them.

We stopped into Ben & Jerry’s and were greeted by two high school–aged boys who were absolutely fantastic. They welcomed everyone who came in and thanked each person on their way out. My husband ordered a milkshake, I got an ice cream cone (as delicious as expected), and I was happy to see they now offer a few flavors made with oat milk.
Since it was warm outside, we sat inside across from the register... and that’s when something truly extraordinary happened. A woman came in with a friend, placed her order, and when she went to pay, she was short on money. Without hesitation, the young man behind the counter smiled and said, “No worries, it’s not a big deal,” and reached into the tip jar to cover the difference himself. She protested, saying she felt bad, but he reassured her. After she left, he quietly disappeared behind the curtain.
We were so touched by his kindness that we slipped $5 into the tip jar. You just don’t see that kind of generosity anymore. These young men deserve recognition = workers of the year, without a doubt!

Arrived during stated business hours and sign said ‘we’ll be back shortly’ with no timeframe for return. Tried to call and got a recorded message. Had driven half an hour to get ice cream during their stated business hours.
