If I could give 6 starts I would, our experience with Eric in the tasting room was absolutely amazing. The wine was all fantastic and he was very knowledgeable about wine as well as all the surrounding areas. We cannot recommend this place enough based mostly on the experience but also the beauty of the winery itself. Will definitely be back!

This is a great place to stop while visiting the Napa valley. The wine tasting offered a nice variety and you may choose from a menu to fit the types of wines you would like to explore. Of course the emphasis is on the "Cab's", but there are other interesting offerings as well. Our host, Daryll, was very knowledgeable of the valley wines, and also wove in stories about global wine production and history. We especially liked the "mimi vineyard" just outside the tasting patio, which allowed guests to try the raw materials.

One of the best winery I’ve visited, pleasant and cozy, friendly staff. The wine testing was top notch. They have a good quality medium body wines and full body Cabernet Sauvignon was my favorite, they do take walk in if not busy, but how ever it’s always better to make a reservation before going.. had a great time. Recommended.
Was quite frustrated to pay $40 for a charcuterie board that they literally state on the menu is “for two” but wouldn’t even qualify as a snack for one. Was not at all expecting it to be a meal or anything but to explicitly state that it’s “for two” when it consists of a couple small cubes of cheese, like 5 *tiny* pieces of salami, a smidge of jam, and not even enough crackers to eat everything with, it feels outright deceptive.

Had a fantastic experience at Black Stallion Wine Estate! The parking was easy and convenient, which made arriving stress-free. The wine tasting was top-notch, with a lovely hostess who guided us through each wine with great knowledge and enthusiasm.
The highlight for me was their educational vine area. It’s such a unique experience to walk among the vines, learn about the grapes, and even taste them right from the vine! The wine and grits tasting was a standout and something you don’t find at many places – a perfect balance of flavours. Highly recommend this estate for anyone looking for a beautiful, educational, and delicious wine tasting experience.

As a local, I rarely go wine tasting. Today I was here as a photographer for a caterer (Villa Corona Catering) and I WAS SO IMPRESSED WITH THE STAFF! Dianna, Michelle and Eric went OUT OF THEIR WAY to make being there a really WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE! The wine was also wonderful- I will DEFINITELY BE BACK! THANK YOU FOR THE EXCEPTIONAL HOSPITALITY!!!
