Had the risotto great texture very salty could not eat it all if I did not have it with steak so I could eat a piece of steak with the risotto I would not have ate the risotto at all. Sorry but true

We had reservations and were seated immediately, even in a Friday during restaurant month. I got a salad and the fried chicken which was way too much food. I wish they had a small dinner salad option. The chicken? Maybe the best I've had. Mashies were flawless (very smooth with a savory herb forward gravy) and a biscuit and greens. What's not to love. I've been to Brix maybe 6 times and never had anything less than a great meal and great service. Giancarlo was very friendly. My only gripe is the restaurant week specials all included mushrooms. Personally I don't like mushrooms or truffles (unless they're chocolate!).

Great prix fixe menu for Napa restaurant week. Always enjoy coming back here for great food and service.
My husband and I have eaten at Brix's for years and always enjoyed our meals. Yesterday, my crab Louis was disappointing . It could have been tuna as crab was undetectable. The green bean starter was one of our favorites. Yesterday they were very greasy and the tempura coating had fallen off. My other friend had a vegetable pasta dish. She said,” it was just ok.” You asked for my option and now I bet you are sorry.

My partner and I came here for a dinner on our anniversary trip to Napa. While the food was (mostly) quite good the service was disappointing. Our waiter virtually disappeared after taking our order. Both of us wondered if it was more because we were a same sex couple as the waiter was quite friendly with other tables and all but ignored us. We had to wait for other wait staff to realize we had no water or wine or to ask for our check. When you're paying over $200 for dinner you'd expect better. Even though some of the food was good we won't go back. Too many other places in the valley.
