This was our third visit, and unfortunately, we've noticed a significant decline in every aspect of the dining experience.
Our evening began with a frustrating wait for a table, despite the restaurant being largely empty. We were initially seated in a noisy corner right by the kitchen's food exit. Although we were starving and had placed a large order of starters and entrées, we requested to move and the staff promptly relocated us.
The starters were a mixed bag. While the tempura green beans and carrots were good, both the Brussels sprouts and ahi tuna were excessively salty. The soup, which arrived late, was also barely warm.
After an hour and a half of waiting with no entrées in sight, we decided to cut our losses. We canceled our main courses, paid for what we'd had, and left to find another restaurant to finish our much-delayed dinner.

Had great service, nice view, but wouldn’t pick this place for wine tasting.

Fantastic dinner. Everything was amazing

Absolutely unacceptable experience. Not only was the service incredibly slow (we were forced to wait despite plenty of empty tables), but the final straw was finding a worm in our food.

Staff seemed completely unbothered when we pointed it out, showing no urgency or genuine apology. This is beyond bad service—it’s a clear health and hygiene issue. I cannot recommend this place to anyone. Avoid if you care about basic cleanliness and respect for customers.

Love this place excellent service

My husband and I went here for our 15 year anniversary and WOW!! By far the best meal I've had in a LONG time. The service and ambiance were top notch too. We walked around the garden while we waited for our food, which timing wise, was perfect. We now know that they're dog friendly if you let them know ahead of time, needless to say, we're going back with the pup.

Idyllic outdoor garden dining with a view of hills and vineyards. Exceptional Fried Chicken entree but service was underwhelming miss.

Food was absolutely delicious. Ambience is lovely, outdoor space is outstanding. Perfect place to stroll and relax with friends after lunch.

Not sure if this was an off night or what but tonight (Saturday night) they had one bartender making drinks for an entire restaurant so it took 50 minutes to get 2 glasses of wine and 2 diet cokes, food was fine but have had better pasta at fast casual places (overcooked pasta and everything needed salt). Wasn’t very busy in the restaurant so not sure why the service and kitchen weren’t on point. Probably won’t be back and won’t recommend considering we had much better food this week other places in Napa.

Having reserved a patio table, we were seated promptly, but at a small table for 2. Then we asked to be moved to a table with a nicer view, which they did. Once we were comfortably seated we noticed that almost every other couple was seated at 4-person tables, and thought it odd that this wasn’t offered to us especially given that we were celebrating a birthday and there were several such tables unoccupied for the entire evening.

It was quite breezy, and as the sun began to set it started to cool down quite rapidly. We saw the hostess offer blankets to a few female guests, but didn’t offer one to my wife, who by this time had donned her light jacket. So, we had to ask our server if she could have one - which he did eventually provide.

Our server was very good, friendly, and attentive. He was available whenever we needed him, and periodically checked to see if we needed anything.

The food was excellent, especially my asparagus salad appetizer, which I would highly recommend. My wife also loved her crab cakes. We both had the filet, which was very good, but not great - mostly because they were just slightly warm when delivered.

The views of the vineyards are unbeatable, so definitely recommend patio seating. It’s also much quieter than inside.

Overall, a lot of hits, and a couple of misses.

We were excited to dine and celebrate a milestone. We got in and seated rather easily, but we weren't served for 30 minutes. Because of the late service, I was unable to order the fried chicken I had wanted. The food was exceptional, just ashame it was short staffed (at least that's what we assume). Probably will not eat here again.

Good food and atmosphere while overly pricey...Napa effect

We ate out on the patio which was beautiful and the umbrellas provided enough shade. We had apps (vegetable crudite) and lunch (steaks and burgers) plus cocktails and mocktails. No issues with any of the food. Everything was really good. FYI - They do not have a gluten free bun for the burger but it was really yummy without a bun. 2 gluten free options on the dessert menu but was too full to try them.

We had an amazing time at Brix! The food was delicious. We were seated outside, fully shaded, with a beautiful view of the gardens. Definitely recommend!!
