My partner and I came here for a dinner on our anniversary trip to Napa. While the food was (mostly) quite good the service was disappointing. Our waiter virtually disappeared after taking our order. Both of us wondered if it was more because we were a same sex couple as the waiter was quite friendly with other tables and all but ignored us. We had to wait for other wait staff to realize we had no water or wine or to ask for our check. When you're paying over $200 for dinner you'd expect better. Even though some of the food was good we won't go back. Too many other places in the valley.

The roof at Bix is good, as is the service and ambiance. You get good value for your money.

We made a last min rez and it turned to be restaurant week with a prix fixed menu of selected dishes with wine service ~ $80. It was very good and the portions were just right.

Beautiful setting in Napa Valley. Inside was bright and airy, outside tables look out at garden, and staff was timely. Food was tasty, though the burgers were somewhat undercooked.

The restaurant itself is great, but that's where it ended. The service and food were just so-so and based on the price tag should have been much better.

Came here for restaurant month, was our first time. The halibut had barely any flavor (the sauce was minimal), the pot stickers also had barely any flavor. The apple huckleberry pie seemed stale and old. For the price it was not worth it. Overpriced and not much taste.

My friend and I both had the soup of the day, which was very tasty. We shared the French dip and got extra French fries! The French dip was delicious. Our server was very considerate and patient, as my friend and I caught up after not seeing each other for a long while.

Beautiful restaurant, cozy atmosphere. We sat outside and it was lovely. Great service. Food was amazing and well prepared . The sticky ribs, simply awesome. Short ribs, fork tender and spectacular onion rings on top. The hostess accommodated us despite our not having a reservation. A great experience. Highly recommended.

Well, there was a reason it was half empty on Friday night… lots of great dining options nearby, but everything at Brix was mediocre. I’m struggling with the farm to table description- eg. the green beans could have been fresh, but the honey mustard dipping sauce came out of an over-processed vat. Same for mashed potatoes, unless there is another reason they were so bad. The mac and cheese was also gross, fried chicken bland. Steak frites tasted fine, but based on the price I expected a better cut of meat and less sodium sauce.

Garden was pretty, but the lighting inside restaurant was glaring. Most disappointing, while the serving staff was nice, the hostess went out of her way to be rude and unaccommodating. We were a group 9, but she insisted we sit at two different tables… in the middle of an empty restaurant.

Brix has a beautiful setting, but our dinner was disappointing. The food was ok- nothing special, and the wine had noticeable sediment. It was dark, so we couldn’t see the gardens we’d hoped to enjoy. The worst part was the overhead heater. Our table was uncomfortably hot, and even after asking the server to adjust them, it stayed that way through the meal. Unfortunately, the atmosphere and service didn’t live up to expectations.

Food was tasty and well presented. 1 Veggie option (vegetable crudité) for appetizer, or a side of celery croquette that was flavorful too. 1 veggie option for main entree, Risotto was creamy but texture of the rice was a little rough. Use of mushroom in all dishes, good texture, although I would like more variety besides just the mushrooms. Lots of flies around us, made it uncomfortable to eat in the patio. Passion fruit mocktail was refreshing, rosé frappé was strong! Beautiful garden to have a drink too!

We celebrated our wedding anniversary at Brix. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. They brought us complimentary champagne and a card with our dessert.

We had the private cellar room reserved for months for a party of 11 and a couple hours before we get to the restaurant, we were notified we were bumped and were going to be put in the cottage. This was in the evening and it was just a small elongated room with the curtains down And no ambience. This was for a bachelorette party! The manager never came to speak to us. They did not offer anything for the inconvenience nor did they apologize for the change. The food was decent, or waiter was good but none of us will be back! The way we were treated is not the way to run a high-end restaurant.
