Absolutely delicious menu in the heart of old town Napa, the Bui Bistro by Chef Pho(Fu). It's a must. The French influence is easily revealed with presentation and mild spice, Asian tasty plates. It was my guest's birthday event and when requested, Chef Pho's dessert was tiramisu artistically bathed in cocoa and a design of syrup swirls. Rich and lovely, perfect surprise! The location is very good: first block over the bridge on Pearl off Soscol. Thursdays and Sundays, Waiter Benjamin makes effective the tranquil ambience with true consistent attention. Enjoyable international decor. Tres bon Chef Pho, yours is a perfect eatery in historical Napa! Thank you.

This was my second visit to Bui; my wife has been a number of times. Bui is one of her favorites in Napa, and it's becoming one of mine. I was daring, trying the red curry duck--the flavorful meat was falling off the bones, and the sauce was lick-the-bowl good. Her combination rice plate is a real palate-pleaser. Our server was most helpful and friendly. We met friends and enjoyed a great meal together. FYI, the servings are not generous, but are adequate. We ate all our food and were satisfied, but there were no leftovers to take home.

This place has amazing food. But the service is AWFUL! The first time I went a few weeks ago we had to beg the woman to seat the 2 of us 45 mins before closing while there were other larger parties still eating. All we wanted was some soup! We were finished before the other parties who there before us. The food was great so I came back. However I couldn't even get a table this time. There were 3 other people eating but again the women I guess was too busy to seat us. We asked twice to be seated but we were unable to get a table so we left. Very disappointed and confused with what is happening with the wait Staff.

Curry Chicken Soup is so delicious. I recommend this and their iced coffees. If you're looking for good food downtown and don't want to be around the crowd this is the place to go. Also the staff is really nice.

As the only Vietnamese restaurant in downtown Napa we were looking forward to an authentic experience. Sadly we were Disappointed. The herbs are a trait of manyVietnamese dishes. All we had was a few sprigs of cilantro. No basil, mint, or other herbs. The salad rolls were fresh but lacking in flavor. The pho broth was good but again nothing but a few sprigs of cilantro. The curry was watery and lack luster. Save your $$$ and go elsewhere.
Great concept, poor execution. Flavors are awesome, food tastes great, but everything came out cold and in the wrong order... appetizers came out after entrees...

This is my families favorite restaurant in Napa. The pho tai with a side of Gai Lan is our favorite and we order it every time we eat there. Which is 2-4 times a month lol

Honestly, the saddest pho I've ever had. Shrimp in the spring rolls wasnt amazing but it wasn't bad.But the pho. Terrible dry breaded chicken cut up and broth was not broth. Oil water. Served with parsley, no basil, just not pho ga in any way.

Was craving for hot Pho and thought of ordering through door dash, Ordered the large portion, the fresh roll as well as some sea bass. The order arrived in about an hour ( we stayed 4 miles away from the bistro) NO bean sprouts,basil, lime for the soup. I’ve been ordering Pho for a long time, those veggies comes with the soup when you order it. PLEASE... it’s difficult this days, WE TRUST that as we door das, or order to grab hub, our order(s) are properly taken cared off. The raw meat was put together with the rice noodles.Pls separate them... it doesn’t look appealing at all. PACK the order appropriately... In this difficult time with economy, let us help each other please.
