The restaurant was understaffed on a Friday evening. Our servers were kind and attentive, but they had too many tables to wait on and our service was far too slow for how much we paid for our meal. Cocktails were good but not great, steak was cooked very well. No complaints about food.

The staff was nice, but the food was off. We thought someone around us had ordered an off smelling dish but realized today it was the Tomahawk steaks when we warmed them back up. Multiple people in our party are sick from eating here.

I really wanted to love this place, especially given the reputation and the prices, but the food was incredibly disappointing.
While we were sitting at our table waiting for our meal, a strong foul smell suddenly filled the restaurant. It smelled like old fish and it lingered for about ten minutes. At the time we couldn’t figure out where it was coming from, but once our food arrived it became obvious.
Our group ordered dry aged tomahawk steaks, and the smell we had noticed earlier was coming from the meat itself. Dry aging is supposed to create a rich, concentrated flavor. This tasted rancid. It was not bold or earthy or intense. It was genuinely repulsive and completely inedible. I cannot understand how a chef would allow something like that to be served.
For the price, this was some of the worst meat I have ever been served. It honestly raised concerns about how it was handled, because nothing about that smell or taste seemed right.
The service was excellent. The staff was attentive and kind throughout the meal, which makes it even more disappointing to write this. I am sure someday we will laugh about how unbelievably bad that steak was, once our stomachs stop aching. But at the moment it just feels like a very expensive mistake.

Dining at Charlie Palmer at the Archer Hotel never fails. We came in for a late lunch to grab drinks at lounge that had such an inviting feeling.
Jose, our waiter, took great care of us and definitely made us feel welcomed. Would repeatedly make sure our drinks were filled and bellies were full! Explained about a halibut special he had for the night and it was great, my lady loved it. I had the burger and fries and it was killer.
Overall, I would definitely come back for drink with buddies or a nice dinner out!

If you're in Napa this is the place to go for an amazing steak. Our server Hannah was an absolute delight. She was so sweet and took the time to explain the menu and any questions we had. We also had Isabella that was just as wonderful and sweet that always made sure our drinks were full and that we had everything we needed. If I could give 10 stars I would!! If you're in Napa definitely give this place a try!!
Had a wonderful experience. Service as outstanding. We had the Pork Chop and Halibut Steak. Both were perfect and delicious. There was a slight incident in the building during our dinner but was handled professionally. The Gingerbread Creme Burlee was amazing. Highly recommend if you in Napa.
For a New Year's Eve dinner, this was underwhelming. We were never asked how we wanted the filet's cooked (had to send three back), no other food options were available to purchase, lackluster vibe for what should have been a festive evening.

I went here for dinner on December 27, 2025 at 5:42pm and frankly it was the best dinner I’ve ever had in the glorious continental plate of North America definitely worth the $300 I spent I got a steak, scallops, halibut, cabbage, mushrooms, mashed potato and broccolini. For dessert I had chocolate covered cake with strawberries and whipped cream and bread rolls with whipped garlic butter which was delicious and juicy. The mastermind of this extemporaneous culinarily advanced gastronomy is gastronomically delicious with the professionally trained chef cooking the best food imaginable in the country of the united states of America. There was @nateplayslive, who played some great music, frankly the best music jennifer lopez has ever heard. I would recommend eating the orange juice, which is truly a one in a lifetime experience… Overall this exceptional culinary achievement is astonishing, and would strongly recommend going here if you can.

Sandy was our server and she was a kind a very attentive server. She paid attention to all of us at the table and especially my daughter to which she gave her a little belated Christmas gift. This really made my daughters night and everyone else’s. Food and drinks were phenomenal. Desert was just the icing on the cake of the night. This was truly a great way to spend a celebration and a perfect restaurant for it.

We went to Charlie Palmer Steak restaurant for our Christmas dinner this year. We had been gone on vacation and it was one of few restaurants that still had places available when we made our reservation. The service was great as was the ambiance; however, for the price the food was only average. It would have gotten more stars if it had been half the price because it was well-prepared and tasty. It just cost too much for what it was.
