Second time coming to Charlie Palmer, great steak, we got the Tomahawk and three sides. Plenty for 4 people. Happy Hour wine $10 a glass.

We were excited to have a prime rib dinner on my 60th birthday. The salad and dessert were very good with the three course prime rib meal but the prime rib itself was nearly inedible. Very fatty and grisly and the meat (i ordered medium) was either too under or so tough I could barely cut it with a steak knife. Neither of us ate much of it. No fault of the restaurant, cell phones were going off at the two tables near us. Not a great experience..what a disappointment.

Breakfast was great. The ricotta pancakes had a delicious orange zest and minted fruit. We ate with 3 and with 2 people, both times made us want to go back. Dinner was fresh and tasty. We especially enjoyed the hamachi crudo, shrimp cocktail, and chocolate cake!

Honestly - it was the worst restaurant food we have ever experienced. There were 8 of us and every aspect of the food was terrible. The waitress was wonderful and apologetic and the manager, Mark, compensated the meal (which was appreciated) but there was no interest on the part of any member of our party to have a replacement meal. The Archer Hotel is the host location and should strongly consider changing brands as this affiliation will eventually harm the hotel reputation.

Service and atmosphere was very good. Food was poor, it was an 80th birthday party, more than half ordered the prime beef special, It was 40% fat, not cooked to order and a very poor cut of meat. It was certainly not slow roasted as advertised and very very tough. Those that ordered the Steaks that were ordered Rare or Med Rare were as close to Well done as you can go with a 2 inch cut of meet and two had to wait to get there replacement steaks after all the others had finished. Ice cream Sunday was fine.

Scallops were over incredibly over salted. Filet Mignon was lacking flavor. Caesar's salad was substandard. Ordered a bottle of sparkling water which came out warm. Asking waiter if it's supposed to be warm, he said no and brought ice. They didn't charge me for the bottle. Would never go back, major disappointment.

Amazing dining experience. Some of the best food we've had in a very long time and the service was AMAZING! Our waiter Jose did a phenomenal job and so did the GM Mark. I highly recommend this restaurant.

My wife and I are local to Napa. While shopping downtown, we were referred to Charle Parker’s for their Happy Hour. We were very disappointed; not by the service but first by the numerous mistakes with the order, and second, by the bill. What we found is a deceptive practice. The menu with the Small Plate list, which historically has been an array of 1/2 priced items, has been carefully reduced to a few items with HH in tiny letters. This is something the first ( and now last time) patron would not pay any attention to. We didn’t even see this subtle distinction. Had the food been cooked properly and sumptuous( wasn’t), we may have chalked this up to a learning experience. We complained- thankfully the server adjusted the bill. He knows we won’t ever return.

Surprisingly bad. The food quality was iffy, the service was abysmal and it was generally a bad experience. I would not recommend. You can do so much better just steps outside the doors for food and service.

Our server Sandy was great. She did everything she could to make a very delayed meal better. Not sure what was happening in the kitchen as the restaurant was not that busy but our meal took over a hour to receive. We had great expectations since it was our first experience at a “Charlie Palmer” restaurant. The food, when we finally received it, was ok. Not sure we'll make reservations again for this restaurant.

Overpriced for sure, my husband's filet had to go back because it was not cooked to medium well. Everything tasted very good. We were celebrating 2 birthdays and what they delivered was 2 small pieces of cardboard cake.

Great 18th birthday dinner celebration for our son. We sat outside on small patio, and had the evening to ourselves. It was a bit chilly out, but the staff was able to accommodate and had heaters running and brought blankets from the hotel. The food was exceptional, and our service was superb. You can never go wrong with any cut of meat they offer, and the side dishes and apps were divine. Thank you to the Charlie Palmer's staff for helping make our boy's night super special.

Great food & service! Beautiful, upscale location inside the Archer Hotel in the middle of downtown shopping area. Was too hot for Sky & Vine rooftop bar that day so we went to CP instead. The value was prime rib 3 course meal for $65 pp on Sundays. Starter of either soup or salad, 14 oz prime rib then ice cream sundae. We will be back for that again soon!
