Empty boxes of trash on the counter, abrasive staff and the food quality has dropped since in the newest location. Sad because I used to love their food but tolerated the weird bait and switch add ons, deceptive pricing and the aggressive staff.

This place is legendary in Napa! Please visit as they have not been busy and you do more want such an institution to close!

Clemente’s has been a traditional in our family since I can remember. The best most delicious comfort food you can eat year round. Whether you live in Napa or are just visiting this is a perfect take out meal. And now they have seating so you don’t have to wait until you get home to enjoy.

Same old Family Italian Kitchen. A Napa staple. Can’t get enough of this good stuff

I grew up going to the back door of the Depot restaurant to get Italian food to go and as a young man The Depot was where I would take a special date. The Depot is long gone but Clemente's is what's left of their family kitchen and I always stop here for malfatti and ravioli when I'm in Napa. Angie is Clemente's daughter and still serves up my favorite Italian food. There are a few tables there but it's set up to go. Next time I think I'll try the veal scallopini too. It was my favorite dish back at the Depot.

Just ordered 4 dozen Malfattis. So disappointed…
They tasted like uncooked dough balls. The sauce was shot, like it passed its prime a day ago.
The last time I went there I was so impressed with the food. Not this time, may not go back.

Savory deliciousness that makes your tummy happy! Malfattis, raviolis, garlic breads, pesto, gnocchi, perfected portions and their sauces are so good. I had the Malfatti which is an original creation, and truly trustworthy in satisfaction. Their sauces are legit. This is a fully-developed-flavors kind of magic. Prices are a still great... hallelujah Clemente's! Thanks for this reminder of what comfort food is supposed to be like!
On the Coombs Street side of the Riverpark Shopping Center, and they have a whole dedicated seating area now with the family history on the wall.
This is much better for customers than that itty-bitty downtown spot before- you can have a bit of elbow room and sit down. Sparkly clean.

One criticism; they should ditch those massive hedges in front because it is very obstructive landscaping and makes it hard to see the entrance. Otherwise, great experience!!!

Consistency is a big problem for this establishment. They’ve moved around at least a few times since and during covid, so location is always different than google maps.

I ordered a few different items including an Italian meatball sandwich for tonight’s dinner. Sauce is salty, lacks depth and is generic in taste. They must have changed cooks recently bc the sauce tastes like they added chipotle peppers to it bc it has a darker color to it and weird taste to it.

The sandwich was most disappointing - for $15, it was a soggy mess of bread, 2 small mangled meatballs and sauce that is on par with prego. This place is and has been going downhill. Avoid if you can.

Sign caught our eye as we were driving by. Stopped in and now they are catering our wedding rehearsal dinner. Amazing authentic Italian food, I couldn’t get enough of the sauce! Great family run environment and friendly service. Highly recommended!

I recently visited Clemente and had a lovely experience. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, perfect for a casual meal. The food was delicious—simple yet full of flavor, and the portions were just right.
