The concept is nice, but the service, drinks, and food were zero. We ordered 3 desserts and drinks. The place is extremely expensive — desserts were $20 each, while a concha that normally costs $1, and the pan de muerto was hard and tiny. The chocolate flan was served separately, and the mini flan was just as small.
It took them 30 minutes to give us a table that was already free. We were 6 people, but they seated 4 at the table outside and 2 separately, yet when it came time to charge for the “big party” service, they counted all 6. The drinks tasted horrible and were overpriced.
I never understood why it took so long to get a table — the place is tiny, they clearly couldn’t accommodate us, yet they had 2 hostesses working. I would never go back. Afterwards, we went to Scala, which I highly recommend — same prices, but real, delicious dishes.

Con Amor Botanas y Tequila is such a great place. The people who work there give amazing recommendations and really help you choose the right drink based on your taste.
They have great wines and fantastic cocktails, some of the best we’ve had. The atmosphere is wonderful and the service makes the experience even better. Highly recommend!

This place is absolutely worth a visit—especially on Sundays for the birria. The food and drinks were outstanding. The service was amazing; the staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely enjoyable to talk with. We loved chatting with them about the menu and their recommendations. The cocktails were top tier and perfectly crafted. Everything about this experience felt thoughtful and welcoming. I definitely recommend this restaurant and will absolutely be back.

They gave us a “20 minute” warning that the table was booked after us and that we needed to hurry!! And the food had just arrived. Then again a 10 minute “warning”!!! And there were four empty tables. Unreal…

Con Amor Botanas y Tequila is a high-impact, flavor-forward concept that delivers immediate ROI on enjoyment. The menu is tightly curated, execution is confident, and the agave program is clearly a core competency—not an afterthought. Expect bold, shareable botanas that punch above their weight, balanced by cocktails built with intent rather than theatrics.
This is a strategic stop for after-work drinks, date night, or pre-dinner momentum—low friction, high satisfaction. The tequila selection is purposeful, the food is crave-driven, and the overall experience aligns well with repeat visitation.
Bottom line: a must-try for anyone prioritizing quality, energy, and flavor clarity over gimmicks. Worth bookmarking and revisiting.

It started Con Amor and ended with vete a la chingada.
Unfortunately, I was not impressed. I came here to celebrate my birthday, expecting traditional flavors and a welcoming atmosphere, but the food fell far short of authenticity. The drinks were overpriced, and after we paid our check—while still enjoying them—we were told we had to finish our drinks outside in 35-degree weather so new customers could take our corner table, which was already poorly placed and cramped.
I expected more, especially given their association with La Cheve, a place I genuinely enjoy and support. While the space itself is beautiful, the staff’s handling of the situation completely ruined what should have been a special celebration. The name didn’t reflect the experience, the service, or the food.

We were super excited to try this new Mexican restaurant from the owner of Le Chevre, which itself ALWAYS has a line out the door. Con Amor didn't disappoint, great atmosphere, drinks presented in a cool way, food was on point, staff was very inviting. Going again soon.

I’m a foodie. I drag my other half into every new place as if we’re going on a food adventure. I love Chèvre so I watched and waited for this new sister restaurant to open their doors. We made a reservation for two and showed up on time. They told us it was going to be another 15-30 minutes. It was in the low 40s outside so we asked if they could notify us when the table was ready. The young nervous gal at the door said she’d call us. She forgot and we got a text message saying we had 5 minutes to get to our seats or we’d lose them. We arrived as we were sitting and waiting in the bar next door. We then ordered chips and salsa while looking at the menu and received pig skins/chicharron instead of chips. Not a big lover of pig skins so we asked again and chips were provided. The salsas were yummy, the guacamole ok and very small.
I ordered a margarita that was black as it had charcoal. While flavorful it was too sweet. The sweet ingredients were not on the detail of the menu. I thought have how you give your dogs charcoal to throw up bad things they may eat.
We then ordered the enchilada and the chicken tacos. They forgot our order. 45 minutes after being seated which was an hour after our actual reservation we got our food.
The enchilada came out looking like a big salad with a breast thing filled with creamy potatoes. Not what was expected. The chicken came out in bread shell similar to thick Nan. The chicken was dry and flavorless.
I ordered the chicken because practically everything on the menu was fried.
I think we were looking for an elevated Mexican meal experience. What we got was a meal that was returned to the kitchen uneaten. I thought we might be in a test kitchen of newbies and they were experimenting on us. No fish, no steak, only one taco option, one enchilada option and other than the salsa, no flavor. I’m shocked that this place has decent reviews. I wanted to love it.
This is minor but hated the decor with a bunch of fake plants type things hanging from the roof by the window ready to gather dust.

Amazing ambiance and even better drinks! Cinthia, the owner, always goes above and beyond to make sure every guest feels taken care of. The staff is incredibly attentive, and everything from the cocktails to the food is delicious. The flautas and gorditas were my absolute favorites—just a heads-up, the flautas are so popular they can sell out fast!
I stopped in for a quick birthday drink and ended up staying for several more 🤭. They even surprised me with the cutest birthday shot!
Whether you’re visiting from out of town, celebrating something special, or just looking to have a fun night out, this spot is an absolute must. Highly recommend!
