Went out for a quick day date . We sat at the bar and had excellent service ! He recommended great dishes and cocktails and nothing disappointed!! The tempura vegetables were tender and crispy mmmmmm perfect! The chicken lettuce wraps were fun and flavorful. Both rolls, Ricky Ricardo on vacation and surf and turf were fresh and loved the marinated wagyu and touch of green onions.
Been here with the whole family before and service was excellent. This time, definitely Not the experience we were expecting especially to celebrate my birthday. We just lucky that it's just tme and my wife this time. Apologize when you miss an order or anything of that matter: acknowledge what is concerning and talk like a professional when communicating with people. it is paramount in this industry. Anyways, Going forward, hopefully the service crews attitude are on a positive and continue that quality of not only the food but especially the quality of service that EIKOs is known for. You all have a good day!
We love coming to Eiko's because the food is always excellent, the pricing is appropriate, and the staff is great. However it does lack ambience and feels too cold (lacking warmth). I think this is due to the types of chairs and table tables used (so much metal). We've eaten on the patio as well and that wasn't very pleasant with wobbly Furniture, and cold even with the heat lamps .
Came here for New Year's Eve / an anniversary date night and had such a great experience. Bridget was our main server and she was wonderful — incredibly attentive and friendly. The rest of the staff was just as fun and attentive, making sure we were taken care of all night. Loved the music they played, amazing sushi with extremely fresh fish, and if you love spicy, the Hot Mama roll is a must.
My go to Japanese restaurant in Napa is Morimoto. I took a leap of faith by going to Eiko's for my daughter's bday dinner. It did not disappoint! I had the steak filet and it was the best filet I'd had in a while. I also ate my first sushi, the “Las Vegas roll” and it was good. Everyone was happy with their food and my daughter couldn't stop taking bites from my filet. The staff was excellent! The price is comparable to Morimoto. Will definitely be back to support this family run business.
A very busy Wednesday night in Napa for EIko's. the food and service were excellent with a very happy and welocming vibe to the restuarant. Fun night.
Love it there! I am GF and then they take of me pristinely. Everything is Fresh and Delicious 🍱🥢🥂
Husband and I had an early reservation for a Saturday dinner. This was our first time, and certainly not our last. We were a little overwhelmed by the extensive menu and asked our waiter, Darren, for his recommendations. He did not steer us wrong. We started with the Wagyu Roll wrapped with rice paper, with sliced jalapenos added - so tender and tasty! We also ordered the Omakase Dinner for 2 with the optional soup and salad. The miso soup was very flavorful, and the salad had a light sesame vinaigrette dressing and was topped by a mound of umami filled chunks of shiitake mushrooms. So far, so (very) good! The shared entree came with an ample variety of various sashimi, nigiri sushi, California rolls and 2 hand rolls. $124 in total. We were satiated and very happy! Darren tended to us enthusiastically, and the food was also impeccable.
The food is amazing. Unique and delicious. We got our faves (including the Neko Chan and the Tsunami rolls) as well as a couple new ones (the Surf and Turf - amazing!). The service was great. I had mentioned it was my daughter's birthday in my reservation and she was acknowledged by the host and several waitstaff. They also gave her some birthday mochi on the house! It was so sweet and thoughtful. We are regulars, it's one of our favorite restaurants in Napa, but they always know how to make it a little extra special every time.
We love Eiko's. This time we both ordered the Bento Box lunch. It comes with Miso Soup, two pieces of California Roll, I gyoza, rice and choice of salmon, beef, chicken or veggies. Plenty of food. It's a great value. I am also a fan of their sashimi and special rolls, especially Ricky Ricardo on vacation.

Delicious food and team were lovely. The outstanding dish was the Ricky Ricardo on vacation. It's a must order. The Hamachi Bonbons were a close second and thanks to Sophia and Alison for looking after us really well.
Horrible service. Took 20 minutes to be waited on and server was so clueless throughout the whole ordering process.
The food was pretty good, we got the Tokyo Ramen and the Dan Dan noodles. The Tokyo Ramen was definitely an odd flavor, but the Dan Dan noodles were delicious. The sushi was fantastic. The biggest beef I had with the ambience was the fact that they still had Covid dividers between each of the tables which definitely took away from the vibe.
The food was served cold and the wait staff did not seem experienced. Concerned about the health safety when food is not served at the proper tempeture.
I've been there many times (my mother-in-law lives in Napa), but last night was rough. Service was extremely slow even though it wasn't busy. We had a reservation and noted it was for a birthday with two little kids, but it seemed our server forgot to put in the order. After waiting an extra 30 minutes, the kids got restless, so we cancelled mid meal and headed home disappointed.
