Elyse produces some truly great Napa varietals from their relatively small operation. They can almost always be depended upon for the quality of their wine as representative of the land on which it is grown. Highly recommended.
While a higher end tasting ($75+), this is a beautifully manicured property with really knowledgeable staff.
Parking was plentiful, and they were dog friendly, even offering my pup snacks (both of which were important for me!).
I tend to like their reds more, but nothing wrong with their white wine either! The reds were memorable though: all three were absolutely gorgeous wines with a lot of depth and nuance.
A lovely memory on my Napa trip!
Wow, me and my wife's first Napa wine tasting experience occurred this past week at Elyse, and it was surely one we will never forget (for good reasons!). Dean guided us through our tasting of many great wines from Elyse and Addax, and was a blast to socialize with during our tasting as well. Safe to say we bought a couple of bottles to bring home on the East Coast! Thank you Dean and Elyse Winery for the wonderful experience!
10:30am rez on a Saturday… our 1st stop of the day, & it was our FAVORITE! Kristopher was super chill and knowledgeable… he didn’t DUMP a bunch of info on us all at once. He really allowed us to come up with questions and he took it from there. Great experience, & we’d recommend for sure!
Delightful tasting with Dean. Informal and informative. We tasted a lot of different varietals and purchased two. An enjoyable change from the more formal tastings at larger wineries.
My top favorite in Napa valley. Awesome wine! Awesome people. This is a must visit while touring wineries.
We had such a great time tasting at Elyse last week. All of the wines were incredible, we wanted to take them all home! Dean was our host and he had so much energy and knowledge, we had a great time! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a laid back but informative atmosphere with seriously delicious wines.

I ran into the owner a while back he mentioned his winery. I went with a friend to check it out months later. It was on our way going to Yountville. The place looks small but the selection of good ? wine is amazing! If you want to get your money's worth on wine tasting, you have to hit this winery. Literally one of the best wine tastings I've ever been too and I have been to many. The Pinot was delicious!

Elyse is a true hidden gem in Napa. I’ve had the privilege to try several of their wines and none have been disappointing. During our recent trip to Napa, we made a visit to the winery and once again, not disappointed. We tasted with Shane (awesome guy) who took his time and explained each wine. Shane let us taste the addax tench cab which we happily bought a bottle of. If you have the time and appreciate good wine and true small scale production wines, give elyse a try.
I always hear about how good their wine is so we decided to check it out. It was a couple exits before going into Yountville. The place looks small but looks can be deceiving they had many wines more than I expected. The wines were amazing. We are locals but do go wine tasting often. They have an excellent selection of wines better than some of the main wineries we went too. I highly recommend this place for wine tasting ?
So sad. I went to the winery and it was amazing. The people were fantastic and friendly. The tasting was also wonderful. I brought two bottles of the Morgado cellars red wine home and there was sludge on the cork and the wine was awful. This also happened to my friends bottle.
My family went to this winery yesterday and were blown away with what a great tasting experience we had. First off, we went with our infant and two year old toddler, and this winery was very accommodating. We were seated on a patio section and it was very private so my two year old could run around and play. Second, the wine was extraordinary. But, what made this tasting truly the best we experienced in Napa, was our host, Dean. He sat at the table with us and really got to know us and what we liked. He tailored the tasting based on that. He also had the best stories and was so easy-going and fun. He made our tasting truly memorable. We tried probably around 8-10 wines with very generous pours for $50/person. However, if you purchase three bottles (all ranging from $35-200/bottle), the tasting fee was waived. We ended up buying 6 bottles to get the tasting fees waived and left very happy. We will definitely be back!
Great experinece! The staff are really friendly and explain for you as much as you want.
