My mother organized a lunch from her husband‘s 80th birthday at Empress. Four large round tables were filled with delicious noodles, meat, dishes, vegan dishes, soups, and homemade desserts. Everything was tasty and disappeared quickly! The staff was so kind and thoughtful, providing cultural birthday hats, and a beautiful calligraphy scroll as gifts to the birthday boy. I can’t wait to visit Napa again and eat at this lovely restaurant.

The most authentic Cantonese dining experience in America, complete with a traditional Chinese-style ambience. I often come here when I feel homesick — it’s like taking a quick trip to Guangzhou without buying a plane ticket! The food is so good you’d swear you just flew to China. A perfect spot to enjoy a meal with family or friends — highly recommended!

The food was excellent. Not your average chinese restaurant. Well worth the little extra money. Service was excellent.

We had a excellent experience at this restaurant. The food was amazing and the service was excellent! The manager even took the time to explain some the food and paired it with wine! I would definitely recommend a visit and will be going back on my next visit to Napa!

Not the best Asian food in Napa but decent. Potstickers were good, Soup dumplings a little doughy, won ton soup was very good. The young lady who served us was outstanding. Place is disheveled and not that great a setting.

This is one of the few Chinese Cusine restaurants in Napa and by far the best, quite a large restaurant. Delicious dim sum, green beans and garlic, and many other tasty dishes. They offer the standard fare and specials. The decor is upscale and there is also a lovely enclosed patio. It is generally not busy, which often surprises me, maybe take out is their main stay. The staff is small in number but attentive and friendly. Check it out, hidden gem.

What a gem in downtown Napa! We just visited our friend who moved to Napa and had such an enjoyable and delightful meal. Our friend is vegetarian/lite pescatarian and we ordered a meal that was comprised of delicious baked tofu, string beans with garlic, chow fun noodles with vegetables (bok choy/broccoli), one chicken dish (kung pao), and vegetarian egg rolls.....we had a delicious meal that was so much enjoyed by all of us. No greasy egg rolls nor any of the dishes which was fantastic........One minor improvement was to add some more vegetables to the chow fun noodles, we craved some more! Spot on place and yes, competitive to restaurants in San Franciso.

Pan fried Onion beef is kinda salty. Peking duck, clay pot seafood vermicelli and chicken combo fried rice are average. If you’re sensitive to MSG, you definitely fee thirty after. If you’re looking for authentic Chinese cruise, this is not the one you’re looking for. Price is not matched with food quality.

This is BY FAR the best Asian food in Napa. Everywhere else is not even close. The people are so friendly also. When you’re craving Asian food this has to be the place to go. I prefer to go and eat at the restaurant vs takeout but either way, it’s solid.

Extremely good Chinese food, generous portions. Service was a little off, entrees arrived while half way through appetizers. Next time will order after first course done. For some reason, people expect Chinese food, along with other ethnic foods, to be very cheap, and push back on higher priced restaurants. these businesses pay the same prices for their raw materials as high end places, and I have no problem with paying higher rates for top quality. there are a number of Chinese restaurants in our area, Empress M's is the only one I go back to.
