We were in Napa for my friends 40th Birthday weekend and we came here for games and wine. What a beautiful setting with delicious wine and very friendly and knowledgeable service. I will be recommending this place to anyone that I hear of coming to Napa.

When you first arrive at Etude Winery, you're greeted by the breathtaking beauty of the vineyard. The wines they offer are truly exceptional and are a testament to the winery's dedication to quality. However, the wine tasting experience itself leaves much to be desired. The tastings are conducted in a small barn that also doubles as their gift shop. Unfortunately, this space lacks any special decor or a view to complement the wines being tasted. It's a very simple setup that doesn't do justice to the stunning outdoor surroundings of the winery. Although the quality of the wine justifies some of the price, it's hard to ignore the disconnect between the exceptional wines and the underwhelming tasting experience. In order to truly reflect the overall experience, the pricing should be adjusted to better align with the quality of the setting and service.

Oh em gee the wines are exceptional. Love the sparkling all the way up to the cabs and brandy. Do the tasting. Ask for Michael.

Absolutely gorgeous winery with even better wines! Our host, Michael, was so knowledgeable, personable, and downright friendly. It was the perfect mix of information and relaxation. Ten out of ten recommend. And if you get Michael as your host count yourself as extra blessed.

Participated in a private wine tasting event here and had a fantastic time. The caterer used was absolutely delicious with an amazing paella. The winery tour was great and the wines were delicious.

If you love Pinot Noir you need to come here right away. They really are making incredible pinot Noir. You might even want to leaving with some Cabernet Sauvignon because they are also fantastic. They really make the terroir shine and the staff and service was great. Annette was such a joy to talk to and guided us through the tasting sharing her vast knowledge

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience tasting at Etude Wines. We arrived a little early for our appointment but they squeezed us in no problem. All the wines we tried were excellent. Annette poured the wines for us and was very welcoming and helpful with her tasting notes and information on the wines and grapes. The space was also beautiful--a wonderful spot to sip tasty wines and enjoy the scenery.

Tasting area was wonderful. Excellent wines, especially the Cabernet that we had in our flight. Our host Annette really knew the wines and was very welcoming.

We went on a Friday afternoon and it was relatively quiet compared to most of the bigger wineries.

I have lived in the Bay Area for 14 years and visited many wineries in the Napa, Sonoma, and adjacent AVAs. I have also been a wine club member at many wineries. From my perspective, being a “good” winery comes down to two criteria: (1) Are the employees friendly, helpful, and supportive of you during your visit? (2) Is the wine any good? My opinion is that Etude excels in both of these criteria. The employees are very friendly, helpful, and supportive every time I visit. And their wines are outstanding. If you like complex Napa Valley cab and robust Pinot, then this is your winery.

Great place to taste wines, especially if you like Pinot Noir. They specialize in Pinot’s. If you like Cabernet Sauvignon, they have a great one.

Super fun tasting of their Pinos. Excellent and knowledgeable staff. If you can, try the Pino Blanc...it's very good.

First time to Napa. My husband and I had a nice experience at Etude. James was very nice, knowledgeable which made for a great experience.

Very nice people and great reds. Smaller and more intimate than other winery tasting areas

This winery struck us as wholly focused on crafting the best single vineyard wines. Really dedicated to the art and science of wine making, we were impressed with every vintage we tried. We learned so much about the process speaking with our warm hostess, Annette. They are quietly building the best Pinots in the valley. Check them out and thank us later

I am from Canada and was visiting my sister who lives in the region. We visited Etude on April 14 and were delighted by the visit. Annette was guiding us through our tasting and she was simply great: respectful, not the least bit imposing, but knowledgeable, smart, charming and quite funny. I told her of recent bad experiences I’d had with Cabernet Sauvignons, leaving me with the impression of a boring wine variety. She put those Cab reservations to rest quite quickly with a sample of a 2019 Napa Valley Cabernet, which was simply amazing. A conversion. All this to say we very much enjoyed our visit and Annette’s conversation and views on the Cab and other quite spectacular Pinot Noirs. A very recommended visit.
