This place or its food is not what it used to be. Lobster roll was inedible as the bread was stale, old and dry. We used to come more frequently, but it is the last time. Very disappointing.

Dietary restrictions: My child is very picky and they were able to give him a burger and fries. The meal was so salty he complained that his tongue was dry halfway through the meal. I got the gnocchi and the gnocchi itself was soft and melted in your mouth, but the sauce was so salty I was very disappointed. Plus for the price and only getting 10 gnocchi that's terrible. We tried the beef tartar, melon prosciutto and Cesar salad as apps and the tartar was decent, prosciutto had a spicy oil drizzle, which was okay, but should have been noted on the menu and the Cesar salad dressing was bland. For the price of the items it was definitely not worth it. They were San Francisco prices and definitely not San Francisco worthy, we've been to many San Francisco establishments and they have never disappointed, the Farm was a huge disappointment

The food and ambience were good but the service was not what you would expect in a restaurant at this price point.

We were waiting forever for our food
The food itself was relatively good
Except for the lamb which came out rare
The waiter never asked me what temperature I wanted and never came back to even as how the food was in order for me to let him know it was not what I could eat.
Over all. It a great experience.

Dinner was really good. We sat on the patio, and it turned into a beautiful evening. Service great, and we enjoyed The evening. I got the gnocchi, only complaint was it was a very small dish of pasta. It was delicious, but I shared a side with someone else. If I hadn't, the gnocchi wouldn't have been enough. Everyone else's portions seemed more filling. Overall- would recommend.

Brunch was outstanding. Everything we ordered as absolutely delicious. The brunch menu requires that you order 4 items with portion sizes adjusted for the size of your party. We didn't love this rigidity because we knew 4 items would be too much food for a party of 3. This format works better for a party of 4 or more. That said, we go back again and again for the Eggs in Pugatory!
excellent location Excellent food , very good vegetarian choices and great pescatarian and meat eating choces reasonably priced wines BUT you have to look for reasonably priced wines in the list A MUST visit place in NAPA
We have dined at the Farm several times in recent years and decided to give it another shot since Sonoma Magazine was touting their new chef. Sadly our experience was a disappointment from the moment we arrived and the remainder of dinner. The apps (grilled bruschetta) and (white bean dip) were just ok lacking any flavors that were memorable. The server was disinterested on our night at the restaurant and failed to provide any commentary about the menu or specials. I had the pork chop that was dry and sweetened by an overpowering cherry garnsih. It's a shame because the setting is beautiful except for tables that weren't cleared and leftover dishes piled up. This is just another overpriced hotel restaurant and nothing more.
The food was unexpectedly bad. I ordered the pork chop, which was overcooked, tough and flavorless. My friend ordered the Fritto Misto entrée and it was a mess. None of the elements of the dish where identifiable it was just covered in a pale/unappetizing tempura. The wait staff was exceptional. One thing that was bothersome was that before dinner, we sat in the open lounge area, which is beautiful. A couple walked in with a large wolfhound looking dog. The dog was thirsty and put its head right on a stack of clean plates and it's nose on a water pitcher. Later, it went into the restaurant while we were eating. If the guests can't have consideration, the restaurant needs to have some boundaries.
Great 4 dish experiencie, worth the drive.
