We have been going here for years even before our daughters were born. When I was pregnant with my first it was one thing I craved was Italian food. And Filippis is very family oriented. We generally go every Friday night and if we don't go in then we usually get take out especially during the pandemic and we are not allowed the restaurant. They make us feel like family and we had pretty much every waiter there. Of course we have our favorites but everyone is generally so nice and our orders come out correct and if they do not then they will always make it right. It is one of our daughter's favorite places to eat. She has never been a big pasta girl but she absolutely loves their meatball. And I say meatball because one meatball will feed both our daughters for two to three days as their protein because they are the size of a softball. They will double cut the pizza for kids since their normal pieces are huge. They don't have a kids menu but you can get half sizes of spaghetti it is still a ton of pasta though. But I always love pasta for leftovers. I usually get Tom's favorite sauce on my pasta. It is extra over the marinara or meat or Alfredo sauce. My husband gets pizza or even the chefs salad. If you go for lunch you can get pizza by the slice but only at lunch. The meal for 2 is so worth it with two salads or soups, a small cheese pizza, two half sizes of pasta and bread. And we have done that on occasion but only available Sun-Thurs. It will always be one of our favorites.

I do have to disagree with all the positive reviews about this restaurant. Truly Horrible. The salad was over socked with dressing, plus I found a pit of an olive that shows some pieces so that means that someone else eat it and it came on my dish. The food came faster that anything I ever saw. We got the fettuccini with chicken and artichoke in Alfredo sauce. was HORRENDOUS!!!. My boyfriend got an eggplant parm, No good either. That thing that they put in there was Not chicken. It was over cooked. It was hard like eating bottom shoe. Disgusting and they said it was chicken. That was an old thing. Chicken is not supposed to look or taste like that, and that dish is supposed to have grill chicken not breaded. We feel SICK!!!. I Bet the stuff they served us tonight was left overs of the day.
It is my first time here in Napa and that is a Place that I Highly Recommend people to Avoid at All Cost. What a disaster!!!!. The owner should feel ashamed. STAY AWAY!!!

I've been to the Little Italy location in San Diego many times, so I wanted to check out this closest location with my dad. We got the Italian Feast for two. The salad, bread, lasagna, and spaghetti were awesome. I think the cheese and mushroom pizza could have stayed in the oven for an extra minute or two. Overall, the food was awesome and the Italian Feast for Two cannot be beaten for the cost. Plus, you get to sample several of their offerings in one sitting. Be prepared to bring half home with you!

Filippi's is a great place to eat at in downtown Napa. It's in slightly quieter place than the rest of the bustle but still very close, which gives it a good vibe. Inside it feels like you've stepped back a century. Homey, slightly kitschy decor but very comfortable. The food was great - we ordered pizza, salad and garlic knots and the portions were enough for four people, with Tiramisu at the end. The prices were also very reasonable for an otherwise expensive neighborhood.

Ive been going here since I was a kid and its always been good but as per my last visit I think I wont be returning I took my husband here since I wanted him to try it for the first time and when they gave us bread it was cold then when we took the spaghetti and meatball home Im reheating the food and notice a long white hair which definitely wasnt from us or our waiter also for some reason they put beans and chickpeas in the salad now kinda weird
