5 Dot is a 5 Star joint, go in get your steaks and get out before any of the out of towners release any bay area stupidity on you.

The local meat purveyor to get that special cut of meat for any occasion. Located conveniently in 0xbow Market. I've been a loyal customer for over 15 years. I just ordered 35 day dry aged New York steaks to prepare Steak Oscar

Delicious meats and fantastic service. Love that they will marinade meat for you on the spot if it’s not available in the case. Staff is great and always friendly and knowledgeable.

We visited Oxbow multiple times in order to catch the chef! The chef is not always available! But when they are...I recommend getting the burger! Eat outside on the tables between Oxbow and Model Bakery // Five Dot Ranch (FDR) Burger $16.50 + Cheddar $1 // This burger was excellent! Delicious moist patty, medium rare on a toasted brioche bun. The house sauce makes ketchup and mustard unnecessary and irrelevant! What more can you ask for? Oh yes...YOU MUST ADD CHEESE. FOR ALL THAT IS GOOD AND HOLY PLEASE ADD CHEESE. It also come with a side of chips! // Overall // Delicious burger. But unfortunate the chef is not available everyday.

I love to pop into Five Dot Ranch to pick up their chimichurri marinated beef to grill at home. They offer a variety of cuts of meat, and we have never been disappointed in the quality. With a location at The Oxbow Public Market, Five Dot is not a super deal, but prices are fair for top quality meat. Their meat is often featured at upscale restaurants across the valley. If you are looking for something prepared on site they will grill a steak for you. They also serve a good Reuben sandwich and French dip. Check out Five Dot Ranch if you’re hungry for quality meat.

Located inside oxbow Public market. My ribs and wedge salad were delicious and my son and Grandsons hamburger and hot dog were wonderful too

This is a tourist trap. Their portion sizes are meager. We got the wedge salad with sirloin steak. The sirloin steak was $8 to add. For $18 after tax, you get this. Unfortunately, the steak is also bland. We have eaten at better places in Napa with better quality and value.

I've been here a few times. Most recently I was in the mood for a hot dog, and in the area (downtown Napa), so I was in luck. There's not t a lot of places in Napa where you can get a good Beef hotdog. A couple I know are Norman Rose, Gott's, Napa Sport, and at the movie theatre, (which is basically next door to Napa Sport lol). Anyways they serve a nice 1/4 lb grass pasture raised beef hotdog. It comes standard with kraut, relish, ketchup and mustard. I usually pass on ketchup in all situations, this included, (it's too sweet). Long story short, it was great. Cooked perfect, meaning cooked but still juicy, dressed nicely, and the kraut was good too! Plus the added ambiance of the open-air Oxbow market is a nice departure from a sit-down restaurant, or a hot-dog cart. Why not 5 stars...well the ordering was awkward. I figured we paid after we ate, and we were sitting right at the counter, and yes it was an assumption. When they told us after taking our order it would be 5-7 minutes, we decided to take a stroll and get a cup of coffee from "Ritual" (worth it!!!), as we got back 5 minutes later the cashier told us they hadn't started the order because we hadn't paid yet. Two things here, he should have told us that as I told him we were going next-door to get some coffee in the mean time, and the second is Ritual coffee which is where we were, is not only right next door, but he cold see us standing in line and waiting for our coffee. We were so close he could have gestured us to come over, but instead after we got back with our coffee, he told us that as soon as we pay they will begin the order. Food was good service 2.5 out of 5.

We ended up here because it was the only dining establishment in the Oxbow Public Market with available seats. I opted for the Mac and Cheese, good but small portions ($9). My wife went with the $14 Rueben Sandwich, tasty, but nothing to bowl you over. People were buying steaks and having them cooked for $10 or $14. The Hog Island Oyster Place seemed to be the most popular restaurant, for what it’s worth.

First time visit to Napa with a stop at Five Dot Ranch in the Oxbow Public Market for lunch. The Chimichurri Sirloin kebabs were fantastic. Great to chat to the butcher himself. Wife and son had the Shortrib bbq sandwich and both were impressed.

You buy your steak from their market side. They will grill it for $10 extra or get 2 sides for $14. This is a casual place inside oxbow . It's worth a try. Service is ok.

Come to oxbow a few times a month (at a minimum) Normally grab a beer at fieldwork and then order from C Casa but wanted to switch it up tonight. Ordered chili and caesar salad with two canned beers. (Took awhile to get the girl behind counter to acknowledge us) As we were sharing, we asked for an extra bowl. Food arrived within 5 minutes. Chili was lukewarm at best. Bowl that they provided for us to share was VERY dirty. Salad dressing was underwhelming and lettuce was limp. We were never checked on. Left with our food barely touched. Spend 50 for soup and salad elsewhere. **extra star because tall can beers were $5 each and that's just value.
