Beautiful tasting wines. A true boutique winery that produces some of the best wines. One of the best Malbecs I’ve ever had. Their Petite Verdot was amazing. Had to buy and ship!!!

Hearing about the 1959 Corvette, the motorcycle and scuba diving adventures brought the personality of the winery into sharper focus and revealed the family’s passion for living. It is a reflection of the same blend of precision, thrill, and deep appreciation for the essence of alchemy required for superior wine making. James Cole is a member of the upper echelon of Napa Valley wineries. It’s location at the southern end of the Silverado Trail is coveted and the small stone winery and tasting room exude a cool and sophisticated vibe. The grounds are just lovely. You’ll find that the staff are friendly, enthusiastic and well-trained veterans of the industry. If you’re in search of a varietal not on Cole’s menu or just need a restaurant recommendation, these are the folks to ask. James Cole’s wine offerings are broad but not too broad. Enjoy their powerful Napa cab or rich blends, well-textured Chardonnay, delicate Sauvignon Blanc and really interesting Pinot. Oh, and try the newish rose. All a great treat and often at a very competitive price point. Cheers!

I used to enjoy your wines when I was Charles made them. They are not the same. Pretty simple. That and you had warm and engaging staff back then. I have been back to taste and the wines and the people are simply not as good as they once were.

Super relaxed tasting. We were under a cabana outside. Grounds were pretty, inside had some cool vintage vehicles and a pinball machine to play while we waited for them to set up our tasting since we were a bit early. Our tasting host was super friendly, knowledgeable, and just delightful! Bought 4 or 5 bottles. Thank you!
