My hubby and I love mom and pop places to eat, especially breakfast. Now I'm not my l big on breakfast, but he is! I had a superclub sandwich with country potatoes. He had pancakes and sausage. So much food! It was delicious and we fit right in. The only thing I'm sorry about is we didn't take pictures.

We went very early, almost 30 minutes after they opened so it did take some time for our food to arrive. Service was great tho and she was very attentive. The portions are very large so prepare for that. If you're an east coast person, there are some variations. The home fries are large cut skin on potatoes. The corn beef hash is strips of corned beef with onions and potatoes. It was very good tho. The pancakes were very thin and made with a crispy top which threw me off. May be a west coast thing. However, the guacamole was spectacular. Freshly made and fresh tasting. Overall this is a simple diner, with good portions and very nice staff. Worth a visit.

Food was not good service was extremely slow. 45 minutes for an egg sandwich and club. The bread was tough. My coke was watered down so I requested a milk instead and I got a look of disgust. We will never come back

Mr. Javier Ceja's Jefferson Street Cafe has always been my go to place for breakfast and lunch. Food is always fresh and good, staff friendly. Today Javier went above and far beyond to help me. I wasn't paying attention and tripped walking to the cafe and fell. Before I knew it Javier was there to help me up. He brought out napkins to wipe away the blood and had several large bandages to cover my scrapes. Just another reason to continue coming here in the future! Thank you Javier!

I didn’t get to take any photos of our food today. But it was delicious! Pancakes are HUGE! My husband said the country gravy was the best he has had in a long time. I got the Chicken Bacon sandwich and it was fresh, hot and delicious!
