One day when we went with the family to Napa, we came to eat at this Mexican restaurant, apparently it is very popular in the area and I think the place is a real house with history to tell from it if we had to wait a couple of minutes to be able to They had to get a table but it was worth the wait. The food was delicious and they also sell some delicious desserts. The place itself is very interesting inside and the walls have photos of the history of the house, something that is a little complicated. is being able to find parking.

I decided to try this place because a bunch of people recommended it to me. Simply to try something new. Service is great. The employees are extremely kind. The food though is a bit overpriced and was not the best quality. Coffees are the price of a venti Starbucks coffee and significantly smaller.
I have been a frequent customer of Frida's off Trancas for years and, imho, I can get much better quality food from Frida's at a cheaper price and great service.
Hopefully they can make adjustments to their business model in order to garner more consumers. Good luck.

My wifey and I love La Cheve! Their food is delicious! We always have to get their Concha French Toast. My wife loves coffee and their seasonal coffee/iced coffees. All their employees are extremely polite and it’s awesome to see the owner out there mingling with their customers, bringing out food and busing tables. We love going to their Paint & Sip that they do once a month.

Alexanders comments on meal: considering it has serrano peppers and chorizo, you would expect it to be overly heavy and savory. But it's almost sweet since there are delicious caramelized onion pieces in it.
Boozy morning bun:

Alex and Ariana notes on meal: we both agree that boozy morning bun is one of the best pastries we've ever had.
Guava concha:

Alex and Ariana notes on meal: The most delicious and delicate beautifully baked concha we've ever had
Final comment: if you are staying in Napa you HAVE TO come in the morning for breakfast.

So delicious and the nicest staff. Went for brunch on a Friday and was a short line with food coming out quickly after ordered. Did huevos rancheros, cornmeal pancakes, and horchata and all were fabulous

We only recently heard of this restaurant in Napa. They told us it is the oldest building in Napa, built in 1845. We waited outside in line for 35 minutes. Not really too bad. You're advised by the staff that you can order drinks and pastries online and pick them up at the side of the restaurant. We did and it was fast. It made the wait much easier. When you get inside, you order and pay for food immediately and are seated either inside or outside. The atmosphere is very cool!
We had Chilequiles, French Toast, and Mexican Eggs Benedict. All were superb. They were delivered to us very fast! We also tried the Mimosa flight. 4 different mimosas. Everything was delicious and the servers were very friendly and helpful.
So, it's a long line to get in, but it's worth every minute!

This is one of our go-to spots for a reason: the food and service are consistently exceptional. While their entire menu is impressive, their bakery goods are truly outstanding. But what sets La Cheve apart is the palpable love and care that goes into every dish. It's more than just a restaurant; it's a place where you can feel the passion and dedication of the people behind it,
Parking: They have very limited parking so I recommend arriving early in the morning or being prepared to wait before finding a parking spot.
