One of our favorite spots. La Cheve has a great atmosphere, the breakfast was excellent, and we enjoyed being able to bring our dog to the outside area. Definitely a go-to for us whenever we’re in Napa!

Great food, good cocktails but the service was not the greatest. There was one guy who I flagged down twice and engaged with our table of 7, he had stories and a great attitude which saved this restaurant from getting a single star for service; which to be honest service was non-existent. Never once was our table checked up on, in more than a hour not once! Trying to get a server's attention is like trying to flag down a taxi in the city, chaotic and putting in way too much effort. All we wanted was more drinks and pastries. It was a pain especially when we're told to NOT go get someone at the register. I was very close twice to do exactly that, you're guy there saved you and should be given a raise! Wish I knew his name. 4 stars for the atmosphere he provided, 3 for the non-existent service due to him, and the kitchen gets 5 stars for making some really good food.

We enjoy that pastries, concha’s, hot chocolate! My husband enjoyed the chilaquiles but my mom thinks they’re too spicy for her. 😅 concha French toast is really good!

YES, the food is as good as everyone says. Definitely worth the wait, but that wait might be a while. We got there around 11 and were told it was a 1.5 hour wait to sit. I was very happy to learn that they had a to-go order area with seating so we opted for that. You can order drinks and pastries online, but to order actual food you need to stand in the to-go line.

The line went fast and we got our food within 15 minutes. Best chilaquiles ever. Highly recommend the arroz con leche concha. Get there early, be prepared to wait, but also be prepared to eat amazing authentic food!

The line was about an hour wait but you could order to go on the other side of the restaurant. We did the To go and ate there. If you want to wait an hour to have your food on a clay plate then by all means wait. But I don’t think it’s worth the wait when to go was faster and the food is just as good. We ordered our food but they forgot to give us the churro donuts. We asked the guy working on sep 6 at 12 pm where our donuts were and he said they’re separate and have to wait to get called for the donuts. Which makes no sense since it’s to go. We ate our food and no donuts. We asked another person and said the donuts were sold out and that they can give us one cronut churro. Which was very hard so I took a bite and threw it away. If they didn’t have donuts the first time we asked we would’ve picked something else. It makes no sense why it was handled that way. The inside by the bathrooms had flys flying around as well. The green chilaquiles were amazing but the gorditas de chorizo con papas were not. They were very dry with no flavor. The French toast was good. I would go back for the chilaquiles but I would be very careful ordering desserts and making sure I get all of my order. But I would only order to go. Not worth the hour wait and then 30 min to get your food.

Went here on a Whim after seeing their Instagram posts and let me tell you, their food is OUTSTANDING!! Flavorful, well balanced and served hot. There alot of mediocre Mexican food out there, this is not one of them. Its worth the wait.

The flan french toast was bomb.
I dunno who pissed off the chef but the eggs Benedict in salsa verde was freaking spicy. The potatoes with chorizo was bomb though.

We went early for breakfast just to get in this time after waiting in line over an hour for lunch, twice! The food was good but not worth an hour in line first.

The long lines are deceiving. Lots of seating, food comes very quickly and no one rushes you. The food is absolutely delicious and the ingredients are beyond fresh. Absolutely worth the wait and even a bit of an experience. 5 stars!

My abuelita would have enjoyed the food if she was with us. The drinks, horchata & rum with the French toast and the paloma with green chilaquiles did not disappoint! We added un bistec, chorizo and avocado to our chilaquiles for added proteinand had them split the plate. And of course we took some pastries home. If only we lived closer....
