What a wonderful winery and wine tasting experience we stumbled across!! Alvaro was super informative and great at answering our questions! The wines were absolutely delicious and it was so interesting hearing about how they were made. We love that the winery is family owned and, of course, locally based! Highly recommend :) we hope one day they’ll stock in the UK ???

I have to start this post by saying my mom had broken her wrist the day before and the friend that was with us needed a rest stop. I saw a sign that said wine tasting, or wine by the glass and there was a beautiful outdoor seating area. This was the absolute BEST place for us to take a rest.First, the wine we tasted was DELICIOUS!Second, but more important to me Alvaro went above and beyond to be kind to a group of ladies that really needed kindness. He took care of us and we really ended up feeling like family. I'd love to have say there was something special about us, but as we saw others come too I can honestly say he's just a great guy, selling a great product.This is a family company and I feel like I'm a part of it. Many many thanks Alvaro!If you're in downtown Napa come here and enjoy!

We had a great time wine tasting and chatting. We were served by Alvaro who was attentive, funny, and just a joy to be around. I usually prefer reds over whites but their Sauvignon Blanc was fantastic. Totally recommended!

The wine and atmosphere is amazing! The red wines here are so unique and delicious. The rose is the PERFECT summertime drink. We love sitting outside, off the downtown stretch and watching Napa all around us. The owner, Alvaro, is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. We LOVE a family owned and operated business. Definitely worth checking out!

Great wine tasting experience. A group of us (4 birthday celebrants of 6) had a wonderful time with Alvaro at MaCo Vineyards. He was very hospitable and responsive to our group. The wine glasses were impeccably clean and buffed, and replaced with each wine tasting. Thank you Alvaro for making our wine tasting experience memorable.

If you ever visit Napa please stop at the MaCo Vinery. We had amazing time. Its a yung vinery but wine is very very good. Hospitality is for 10 stars not 5 , we felt welcome from the first minute we steped inAlvaro open, not just a winery door for us, he opened his heart to a crazy Serbian wine lovers.We will be back for sure .Boban. Marina, Dragane, Rade, Milan i Dajana.

Wow! Of all the wine experiences we had in Napa, MaCo was our favorite - not only are the wines fantastic (we loved the Sauvignon Blanc, Rose, and Cab & ended up leaving with 5 bottles), Alvaro was an incredible host who provided such interesting explanation about tastings and history of the winery. We loved learning about the family ties at MaCo, and it gave the experience a real personal touch. Alvaro even provided us with recommendations on other wineries to visit in the region. A must visit for anyone planning a Napa trip, and somewhere I will definitely return to in the future.
This was one of our favorite wine tastings that we had when we visited! Alvaro's knowledge of wines and the history of the vineyard added am extra dimension of specialness to the tasting. Furthermore, the hospitality provided was top notch! Definitely a place that I'll be coming back to!

This place was an absolute hidden gem! We went to this tasting room a little bit tucked away and it damn near made the whole trip! From the moment we walked in the atmosphere was fun and laid back. Alvaro was the total package of fun knowledgeable and personable. He made the whole experience totally worth it. Was not pressured to buy or anything but do to the delicious wine and Alvaro we left with a membership! 10 out of 10 would do again.

Alvaro was such a charming personality! He made my mom and I laugh and listened to us (mostly me) talk with enthusiasm and grace. We left with 3 bottles. The Sauvignon Blanc was crisp, citrusy and tart. However, the Cabernet was the real prize. Full bodied and rich with tannins the Cabernet is a MUST. The Malbec rose was more my moms speed but the whole experience was 10/10. If you find yourselves in downtown Napa please give this family owned and operated winery a visit.

We had 1.5 hours to burn before our dinner so we walked by looking for wine bars that were open. It was not a coincidence we found MaCo, we found it open on Google and noticed it had 5 star ratings. It’s kind of hidden off 1st Street so please give this wine bar a try! The wine is phenomenal and Alvaro was extremely knowledgeable, kind, funny, and respectful. If I could give MaCo 10 stars, I definitely would.You will not be disappointed!God Bless this establishment.

We sort of stumbled in to MaCo and were greeted warmly by Alvaro. Ninety minutes later we leave with a bottle of the best frickin’ Cab I think I’ve ever tasted. Alvaro was such a great host. We felt like part of the family. Their Sauvignon Blanc was crisp and acidic, not overly sweet. Thanks for such a great evening, Alvaro!
