Materra | Cunat Family Vineyards

We booked a tasting for my birthday and enjoyed every minute of it. Not too busy and the outdoor patio had plenty of shading. The tour was very informative and we didn’t feel rushed but truly welcomed and learned about the vineyard. Beautiful inside and outside and I would definitely recommend!

Just WOW- we loved the unique wines, beautiful architecture and labels, and the friendly staff! While we had an excellent experience at each vineyard we visited, this was our favorite stop of our Napa trip. We were hosted by Miguel in a beautiful private tasting room, who was super informative and friendly, and a Napa Valley native. The manager, Darren, stopped by to say hello and provided us with excellent service. We felt like we made a new friend :) We purchased wine to take home as well as olive oil. The wines here were unlike any others we tried in the valley. We will be recommending Mattera to everyone we know. Cannot wait to come back!

Amazing wine and hospitality

People at Materra are friendly and knowledgeable about wine. Their wines are exquisite and the ambient inviting.

I had a great experience at Materra. From the moment you arrive, you're greeted with a glass of their delicious sauvignon blanc. The Materra Experience, their guided tasting experience, is an intimate and thorough introduction to their locally-grown wines. Expect a red wine-forward tasting with breadth and a delicious cheese board as well. We will definitely be coming back.

I've been to Materra Winery twice now thanks to a friend's recommendation, and each visit has been nothing short of wonderful. What sets Materra apart is how welcoming and down-to-earth the entire experience is—none of the stuffy or overly bougie Napa vibes here and super family friendly.

The tasting is affordable, the decor is beautiful, and making reservations is super easy. The wines are genuinely delicious—I found something I loved each time. A special shoutout to Darren and Stacy, who were both absolutely amazing—knowledgeable, warm, and made us feel like old friends.

This place has become a favorite, and I’ll definitely keep coming back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxed, high-quality wine tasting experience in Napa. Thank you again, Stacy!

Excellent quality wines with some unexpected offerings that I really enjoyed. I was impressed with the aromatic purity of the wines, and especially loved the styling and story behind the Japanese series.

It was a beautiful winery and the hospitality was top notch. Thank you Kevin and the whole crew who spent time with me. It was a wonderful visit.

Wonderful wine and experience. The Midnight was me and my family’s favorite. Server was wonderful as well. Beautiful building.

Phenomenal. Despite living in NYC we became club members because the discounts totally made it worth it. The wine tasting presentation was great along with the valley map to explain the terroir.

So, so good. This winery is top notch from a decor and technology perspective. So fun to see the up to date winemaking equipment and facility. Plus, the staff was so accommodating and knowledgeable. A+
