I feel like they are hardly ever open when they say they are. And the last two times I HAVE caught them open it took nearly an hour to get a sandwich. I understand a lunch rush but wow. What they offer is so delicious, but it’s overshadowed by the disappointment of long wait times, strange atmosphere and inconsistency in showing up for the hours they are supposedly open. There’s room for improvement but I’m truly rooting for them because their menu is top tier.

The food was good. HOWEVER, service was very rude and unprofessional. While ordering the man at the register was somewhat nice, and once we went up to get our food I mistook a bag for ours and the man had yelled at me inside of the store which was very aggressive and made me feel embarrassed. Afterwards the man had been very ignorant and rude towards me. I am very disappointed as I have been to this restaurant many times.

I really don’t understand what happened I ordered I was informed it would take 30 minutes I left dropped into City of Napa came back 27 minutes later no sandwich even cooking and the cook who’s flipping tags never cooked my sandwich then said it will be 10-15 more minutes for a cheese sandwich a not cheap cheese sandwich felt like Oakland where’s the service I like this joint but someone ain’t playing fair had to get a refund left a hefty tip for the cold soda no lunch included

We live over an hour away, and are happy to make the drive to enjoy Melted. Even though they were out of the ingredients for my favorite on our last visit, I still easily found another that was just as good.My favorite is still the "It's been a long time, cousin" and I'd love to know where that name came from.

Like:1. Awesome menu - there’s something for everyone and just about everything sounds great. The concept of waffle sandwiches is great (who doesn’t love a waffle!)2. Storefront/business model. This is 200% exactly what this town needs: a quick, easy grab and go sandwich spot that has some tables for those that want to sit a while. Great vibes all around.Needs work:1. Wait time. Way way too long to wait for a sandwich… even when busy should be between 5-10 minutes max. Was somewhere close to 20 when we went.2. The waffles themselves! This is a B/B+ sandwich but could so so easily become an A+ tier by making the waffles just a bit sweeter. Savory sandwiches are great but a waffle itself isn’t supposed to be savory… when I order a sandwich on a waffle I want it to taste like a waffle, not normal bread! Add some sugar to your waffle batter!!

My wife and I both liked the sandwiches we ordered. And I also liked the tomato soup (with the cream mixed in). It did take a while to get our orders, and it seems like the two people preparing everything have a very cramped space in which to work. Also, the gal at the front had to keep going to the back, which seemed quite far away. So maybe the logistics of the place contributed to the delays. My biggest disappointment was that they did not feature the two standard fares you would expect at a place called "Melted": tuna melt and patty melt. I almost always order some kind of tuna sandwich, and when I found out that they didn't even have tuna, I was ready to turn around and head for Panera! That was a bummer.

Pork chops little ditty was the best sandwich I’ve ever had in my life

Love this place been coming here since we moved to Napa a few years back, I’d say they are consistently the best sandwiches in town.

Haven't been able to come back to this place in a while because of their limited hours. I had a really good sandwich from here before and was disappointed that they no longer serve it. Instead they recommended the grilled cheese, which was awful. The cheese wasn't even melted. Service was abysmal as well.

Stopped by randomly for lunch as we were intrigued by their signature waffle bread and was not disappointed! Small local shop with friendly staff and pleasant outdoor seating. The wife and I both got sandwiches with the waffle bread and they both came with a tomato soup-ish dip. Food was absolutely delicious! Great spot for a unique quick lunch. My only complaint is I don't have one in my town! Will definitely try to visit again when I'm back in napa.
