I was on my way to some other place to see someone about something when all the sudden I came upon the Mercadito food truck. I pulled in and asked the guy in front of me what the house specialty was and he said "get the wet burrito de carne asada" so I did and it was spectacular to say the least!5 stars.
Crazy delicious and unique vegetarian options that all can be made vegan. Everything is out-of-this-world good. Their truck is usually parked in front of St. Clair Brown's, so if you get some wine or beer you can sit at one of the picnic tables. Truck closes at 6 pm though, so don't eat a late lunch. Valentin is the nicest guy too! Updated from previous review on 2022-03-19

We had them at a catered event, and they did great tacos with fresh ingredients. Everything was tasty but not too heavy. The chicken tinga was made with chicken breast (yay for me!), Al pastor had good flavor, duck was interesting, and calabasitas was a good vegetarian option. Staff were friendly, and service was very efficient.
