Excellent service and the food was delicious! Duck tacos were a bit small but tasty. The chili fried chicken as the best. The beef stir fry was good as was the house fried rice. The portions were good size so we took half the food home.

Absolutely tasty. Even the simple sushi rolls had so much flavor. Very high quality ingredients. I had the Indian chicken dish. So much flavor. We got two entries and 1 appetizer for 100 dollars out the door. Pretty reasonable considering the high end atmosphere and quality.

The chicken was tasty! Our server Richard made the experience amazing and had great recommendations since it was our first time.

This review is not on the food, but the poor front of house service. Hostess seated my party outside. We sat for 20 minutes and were not greeted even though the server outside saw us. We were frustrated so just decided to leave. The same hostess wished us a good night which was annoying considering the circumstances. I told her that no one even came by as we were leaving.

We went to Morimoto Asia for my son's birthday. He turned 25. The service was excellent. Alex from the bar served us. He made sure our every need was met. The food was amazing! I cannot wait to go again.

I'd like to compliment our server - excellent customer service! It made the experience great. Some of the food items we ordered are great but some did not meet our expectation. The special of the day Dungeness crab with fried rice and the short rib ramen are excellent. I was a bit disappointed with the pork & shrimp shumai- it was a bit sour, I did not expect that flavor profile for a shumai. The lobster pad Thai with red curry sauce was also a bit disappointing as the lobster tail was rubbery and over seasoned, as in salty. I have always been a fan of chef Morimoto. Though I would say that I enjoyed the experience more on the Morimoto, Napa than the Morimoto Asia restaurant, it is still a pleasant experience.

Great Asian fusion restaurant. some of the food had a lot of items in it, so if you're looking for something simple, this is not the place for you. Everything we tried was delicious.

We had a quiet Sunday evening dinner. The servers were attentive and the food was great. Several of the dumplings were not as tasty as those we'd had other places. The cod was delicious. We'll be back.

we had high expectation when we made the reservation. The service, presentation and ambience were good. However, we were disappointed with several different entrees and appetizers.

No seasonings in the Dim Sum sampler, the proteins were bland. The Zensai sampler was lacking a crispy Pork Belly, flavor and the Tofu is not palatable. I would try somewhere else.

We were excited to try Morimoto Asia since we've been to Morimotos in Napa a few times and were happy with the food and service. However, Morimoto's Asia was absolutely100% different. First, there was no one to greet us. The manager past by us to hand someone their take out. No greeting. At last we were taken to our table which wasn't ready and we had to stand in the middle of the restaurant while they set up the tableware. This was a night out with our grandson so we chose not to drink and went directly to ordering the dumpling platter. The meat in the dumplings had absolutely no flavor. It was as if the meat was cooked on separately and then the sauces poured over them. The pork, the duck-all dry. Out of the entire tastings we only enjoyed one. Our waitress was friendly, but so quick to move on we weren't able to share our concerns with her. The worst part of the evening was when we were leaving. I wanted to express my disappointment with the food, but there was no one at the door. Finally the hostess returned and I told her we were not greeted when we arrived nor was there anyone there as we were leaving. I shared with her our disappointment with the food. She was not happy with my comments. All of a sudden there was another young lady who seemed agitated as soon as she joined us. Ultimately the girls said if I didn't like there attitude I should speak to their manager. Upon their suggestion, I asked to speak to the manager. The manager spoke with me. She apologized for their attitude and called them her " children" and then corrected herself. She stated they are still learning to interact with customers. At this restaurant level I would expect an experienced staff. All I wanted to do was share my opinion to the chef that the food had no flavor and these young ladies took it to the next level. My suggestion to you is to enjoy your evening somewhere else.

Great combinations of delicious Asian food that is very fresh and beautifully presented. The Oji cocktail with Japanese whiskey was memorable. Great and knowledgeable service too. We appreciate this as a local favorite.

Only 1 server working for our 1/2 of the restaurant. Richard was fantastic and did a great job all things considered. Food was OK, not worth the cost or the hype. Definitely not the place we thought it would be. I'll stick with Fats in Sac.

Waited nearly 30 minutes past our reservation time and service was slow even after we were finally seated. Food was average and not worth the time and horrible service.
