Service - Awful and ethically bankrupt. Service was fine at first and then became utterly awful as the dining room got busier. It’s clear they did not have adequate wait staff which came at the peril for every table. The waitress forgot part of the order and came by very few times where we had to shag down the check. To make matters worse, they delivered the next round of cocktails before they were ordered. Having not ordered these, we were surprised to see them added to the bill and not comped as assumed due to the terrible service/waiting. I was going to question the charges, but just wanted to get the bill and get out.
Atmosphere was cool, they have grape vines with lights on the wall. The dining room is dim and a nice space for dining. Points off for having to wait at a table after finishing dinner for 45 minutes before the server stopped by.

Haven’t been here in years and happy to report the service is as on point as opening day! Attention to detail wasn’t missed starting at the host checkin, to the bar to being seated for dinner. Checked in early for dinner- sat at the bar and the service was friendly and fast! Strong cocktails served with a smile.
We were served by Adrian who was fun, fantastic, attentive and genuine. Great suggestions, tasty food and the vibes were so welcoming and warm. And the presentation …. Nailed it ! Will be back. Unfiltered sake was my fave from the flight.

I dont understand the hype about this place. The food was fine, but nothing stellar.
I had the sticky ribs to start, mostly fat and cartilage. For my main, I had the pork which had nice flavor but was tough and overcooked.
Again, I think the place is fine but you definitely dont get what you pay for and is very underwhelming.

Marimoto was such a great experience! The food was seriously delicious—every dish came out looking amazing and tasted even better. You can tell they really put care into what they serve. The vibe inside is awesome too. It's stylish without trying too hard, and just feels like a cool place to hang out and enjoy a good meal. Perfect spot for a night out with friends or a nice date. Service was friendly and laid-back, which made the whole experience even better. Overall, I'd definitely recommend checking out Marimoto if you're looking for great food and a great atmosphere.

Such incredible food! Morimoto was one of our absolute favorite meals in Napa. My husband ordered the chef’s tasting menu and loved every single course — especially the nigiri, which he said was the best sushi he’s ever had.
I ordered a Cosmopolitan (delicious), the gyoza (the best I’ve ever eaten), the braised cod (buttery and perfect), and the sorbet flight (refreshing and light). The portions were spot-on for a tasting-style meal.
Service was great, the restaurant was beautiful and clean, and the bathrooms were easy to find. Our only complaint was the noise level — it was very loud, and we found ourselves raising our voices to talk.
Overall, though, it was a fantastic dining experience and we will definitely be back. Delicious food, attentive service, and truly memorable dishes!
Had a 6:45 pm appointment. We waited 5 minutes to be seated. Once seated, several servers poured water brought the menus and drink list. Drinks arrived quickly. We ordered and all food arrived in a timely manner and hot. Dessert was very tasty as well as the food. Customer service was great. The only issue we had was the level of chatter in the dining area. Energetic yes but was hard to hear my conversation with my wife.

He suggested dishes we normally wouldn't think to order, but we trusted his expertise as a longtime sommelier with a deep understanding of pairing Japanese cuisine — and it did not disappoint. We came here to celebrate my bday and they ruined our dinner celebration.
The service was terrible. They brought all the food out at once including appetizers, sushi and main course. They came out all at once. We have the sake flight but they didn’t explain to us the different kind of sake. The manager was the one who serve us the sake and he told us he is new so he doesn’t know what type of sake it is. They rushed us thru dinner and give a check before she bring out the “birthday dessert “. It was a terrible dining experience. They destroyed Morimoto reputation. I Would NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone .
