After welding for 8 hours in summer heat, I thought I'd treat myself to a cold drink from the Cafe. I ordered a large caramel frappe that was never made because the employees could not stop chatting with each other. Also, the girl who took my order looked at me like I was trash. Yeah, some of us welders look rough after class. Get over it. The girl who took my order had long black hair that was braided (in case a manager sees this). I likely won't be coming here again as long as children are employed there. Those kids need to grow up and learn how to work.

Thank you, NVC for housing all the evacuated folks during the fire. Your team of staff doing 8 hour shifts, your students, your volunteers both through the County and on their own and the Red Cross, Salvation Army, All the Restaurants and linen services not to mention the messages, aromatherapy and the Donation processing Production started by the Athletic Department and Tamara Jones and her Dreamers team who brought it home. Ken, Chief of Police you are amazing. Everyone worked so well together and the people who stayed at the shelter where so thankful for all that you have done.
