Owner was extremely rude to an older couple sitting at a table next to us. As a local, I won’t be coming back to support this bar/

I refuse to go here anymore. Three times in a row a server added money on my charge by increasing the tip after I signed it. The first time they added $5. The second time $10. The third time $4. Each time I had to dispute with my bank. (And my tips were always at least 20% so it's not like the server was getting a bad tip) Servers were different each time so I think they either have several thieves working there or management is doing it. You've been warned-check your bank statements against your receipt if you go.

Let's start by saying the service was awesome! The atmosphere was lively and a bit loud but good. The food was good but nothing I'd try again. The tacos had way too much of one seasoning, the grilled cheese needed more pesto sauce inside, and the marinara sauce needed more seasoning. Great beer and wine selection though. I would come back to give it another go.

A great local bar and hang out in downtown Napa. Great beer selection, small bites, huge desserts and a good chill vibe. I met the owner to talk about the animal heads mounted on the wall really cool guy and by the way, he's not a hunter and it's not his. They also have karaoke nights here! Love this place!

We had a cocktail and the charcuterie board and it was a lovely start to the evening! Great vibe and wonderful attentive service!

Great drinks, verrrrrry attentive service and fun theme activities like Wednesday Night Trivia contests!Great location downtown within easy walking distance from The Archer Hotel.Ask for Dylan at the bar as he is a "Mad Scientist" when it comes to craft cocktails and a super nice guy!Note: The only reason I didn't give 5 stars as it can get pretty loud there with the music at times! All in all, a fun an unique spot to hit vs. the bazillion wine tasting spots downtown!

After seeing it rated so highly on Yelp, we were so excited to try this place out while in Napa. However, the food was average and the staff was really rude to us throughout our meal. The host that sat us was super friendly. Really hoping we came on an off night, because the overall vibe was really cool! Didn't get around to taking photos because it was ok, but we got two of the flatbreads.

The Ox & The Fox in Napa, CA, offers a culinary journey with its thoughtfully curated menu and charming ambiance. The farm-to-table concept shines through in each dish, highlighting fresh, local ingredients. The staff's expertise in recommending wine pairings enhances the overall dining experience. While prices reflect the quality, some patrons mention occasional service lags. Nevertheless, it stands out as a great choice for those seeking a sophisticated dining adventure in the heart of Napa.

Drinks were ok and not over priced. They have decent selection of drinks and food. The vibe was welcoming and its nice that guess can do their own games on the table. I see different age group. Oh the servers by the bar were really nice and accommodating. I don't mind going back.

I tried to enjoy my birthday evening here and there was a (trying my best to describe her) average looking white woman (familiar face), plus size, wearing lulu Lemon approx size 10 leggings, box dyed red/purple hair, thin flower tattoos covering one arm (woman) working as staff. She was extremely rude. She forced us out as they neared closing. They announced closing time maybe 5 minutes earlier (which we wanted to leave but we're finishing our drinks we got 5 minutes prior)... She told our table to "drink faster" and when we told her we were trying she snatched my drink. Abominably terrible service and that is saying something considering this is a bar. Definitely the epitome of uncultured. We watched as she harassed other groups there resulting in them leaving... It is apparent she does not enjoy working there as she doesn't want to stay a single minute after closing or maybe she doesn't get compensated for that time? Not really sure what the dynamic is but what i can say for sure say is she is unmannered. The ordeal was so outrageous that other staff were attending to us and apologizing on her behalf but I should note none of them truly took initiative. iIt seemed everyone was rushed to leave. Please hire better. I am open to deleting this review with confirmation that she is fired/resolution.

Cool cocktail bar adorned with taxidermy on the walls. The music was pretty good but loud. It was a Friday night. The wine and cocktails were excellent. So was the food. Lots of people stopping in and out. Good spot.

Girls trip to Napa! We had a great time at the ox and the fox. The guys were great and attentive to our needs. The server named Maverick is musically talented. Check him out on apple music for sure. Love me some Ox & The Fox! Delicious food that's affordable and in the best location possible! Located in the heart of downtown Napa on 1st St, Ox & The Fox is a short walk from our hotel (in the area.)I got the pretzel as an appetizer and the prime rib Sandwich. Both were DELICIOUS! Very flavorful, and they did a great job soaking up a day of wine drinking! Even better- this restaurant is VERY reasonably priced! The value for such good food in an amazing environment cannot be beat! Plus the walkability factor with numerous wineries and bars nearby... 6/5 stars!!

No. I came here a year ago and the food was fantastic. I don't know what happened but I'm disappointed. The carnitas tacos were bland, the pizza with burrata was goopy and borderline repulsive. And don't get the chocolate lava cake. It's undercooked and for some reason they think it's cute to serve it with bottom shelf strawberry ice cream.Just no.

Had a great time at Ox and the Fox trivia night! The small bites we got were nice and the drinks were pretty good too! I will say that by the end of the night it got LOUD and kinda hard to hear the people I was with but so it goes on eventful nights.
