I loved this place! You can find any type of cheese that you want, and pair it with the wine of your choice! The place is cozy and has a huge selection of wine and cheeses. The staff is so nice and you can ask questions and get samples of what you're interested in. Very good store, highly recommend!

I had an exceptional experience with Willow. Her expertise in guiding my husband and I through the selection of cheeses, crackers, and jam for our charcuterie board was truly impressive. She provided insightful recommendations, ensuring a delightful combination of flavors and textures. Willow's friendly demeanor and knowledge made our shopping enjoyable, and our homemade charcuterie board was a hit. Highly recommend her assistance for anyone looking to create a memorable culinary experience!

Great place to go for a quick cheese board! They offer small and large boards so get your cheese and take a walk around Oxbow or long the close by river. Amazing service from the people who work there!

Went to Napa with my wife a couple weeks ago, came across this little wine shop across from our favorite Oyster place, thought to give it a try. Worst decision ever.... the service was bad and they seems to have a lot of unnecessary ego... I wish there's 0 start option. There are plenty of better options to eat and drink within the complex.

overall a very poor experience. The employee ignored me.

An exquisite selection of cheese, local and international, but best of all, friendly, knowledgeable advice. Cheese newbies, budding cheese aficionados, Wisconsin cheeseheads in for the big game, and all others, will enjoy a no-judgement, non-intimidating, holier-than-thou attitude from Oxbow Cheese. How refreshing! A relief from the poser establishments, $100-bottle wine shops and boutique B&Bs you have all over Napa.

the server was quite rude.... not a pleasant experience

If you respect others I would not purchase from them because they don’t!!! I was sitting down in the designated area for people who purchase from them. I was waiting for my boyfriend who was going to purchase drinks from them. A lady with blond hair and a bun came over and asked me to give up my seat and I told her how we were going to order a drink and she said she didn’t care that she had customers who already had their drinks in their hand and I had to leave. I was asked to leave so caucasian people could sit down. I am a Hispanic women of color. This type of behavior shouldnot be allowed everyone should be respected equally. No one should ask a customer to leave so someone else can sit down.

And I'll tell you exactly why it's worthy of a two hour drive. I had a friend come to town that is on a tight budget and still insists on paying for half. This old pal wanted to go on an old school picnic overlooking the river, and everything we could imagine was right there at the Oxbow Cheese & Wine Shop. A vast selection of quality products that are reasonably priced.5 stars all day long.☆☆☆☆☆

Our cheese mongers did a great job explaining their inventory and recommending excellent pairings. The noise was appropriate for the public market setting, but not too loud

The man was unfriendly and looked annoyed when we asked a question. I'm not a wine drinker and I ask questions because, I don't know. His short response made it very unwelcoming. I am from out of town and it made the experience less than memorable. Snooty winos are the worst. The rest of the market was nice.

Stoped by the Oxbow Cheese And Wine during our sojourn to the Wine Country. I fancy myself a "cheese Connaisseur" since I hail from Europe and consider Cheese a religion not just a abutment. I was pleasantly surprised at the selection of Tagliatelle, Fromager De Affinois and Chèvre. I loaded up on the French "soft" cheeses and called it a day. I highly recommend this establishment and will surely return next time we are in the beautiful Wine Country.

Yes of course! A must to try when you are in the wine country. Don’t miss it.

Do not recommend! Staff was rude and arrogant. Sorry I'm not knowledgeable enough to be just shopping here.
